Stuff about me that won't fit into that cramped little bioblock.
"Place your faith not in your reputation, but in the merit of your accomplishments."

My senior high school yearbook quote, Class of 1996

*Question* Alter Ego *Question*

Harrisonburg, Virginia *Heart*

*Blush* What I Look Like *Blush*

Gender: Female (in case you hadn't figured it out)

Height: 5'5"

Weight: Ooh no...I guess about 150lbs (but still a size 10, thank you very much!)

Hair Color: Brown

Eye Color: Dark Brown

Favorite Feature: My big brown eyes with
long lashes.

Self-assessment: Pretty and cute in a cuddly sort of way. *Blush*

*Confused* Personality Profile *Confused*

*INFP (according to the Myers-Briggs evaluation)
-I = Introvert (vs. Extrovert)
-N = Intuitive (vs. Sensing)
-F = Feeling (vs. Thinking)
-P = Perceiving (vs. Judging)

*Smile* What I like most about myself *Smile*

I'm a deep thinker with a tender heart. I am intuitive and can often feel the joy and pain of others. I am a rampant idealist who loves to be generous with my gifts.

*Worry* What I hate most about myself *Worry*

I tend to over-think things and can be hypersensitive. I often absorb the grief of others but observe their joy from afar. My view of the world is so idealized that I often end up disappointed and depressed when faced with reality. I've been know to give more than I can afford both financially and emotionally.

*Note1* Mixed Media *Note1*

*Reading* Favorite Books (in order of age discovered): *Reading*

The SERENDIPITY series

I started with these at about 4. I loved their pretty art and strong messages, and still do. *Smile*

The Lorax

I must have been 6 or 7 when I first learned that our actions really can destroy our world. *Worry*

Where the Red Fern Grows

I must have been 8 or 9 when I read this, and I could totally relate. I harrassed my parents for years to get me a dog. *Angry*

Jurassic Park

I was 14 when I read this book shortly after watching the movie. An MD writes a good horror story about dinosaurs and genetic engineering. Why, it's every nerd's dream come true. *Delight*

Interview with the Vampire

I was 14 when I read this, just the ticket for my teenage angst and burgeoning sexuality. *Blush*

White Oleander

I was 20 when I read this and could truly relate to her main character. *Worry*

The Last Unicorn

It's about a Unicorn! Imagine my girlish elation (at 22). *Delight*

The Missing Piece Meets the Big O

I was 23 when I read this, and it actually brought me to tears. *Cry*

Prozac Nation

I was 23 when I read this, not much older than Elizabeth Wurtzel is in the book. Honestly, I doubt I'd like her if we met. That, however, only proves that there is something wide-reaching and universal about depression. *Confused*

*Star* Favorite Movies (also in order of age discovered): *Star*

"Watership Down"
"Labyrinth"
"Clash of the Titans"
"Steel Magnolias"
"The Mummy"
"Someone Like You"
"The Cell"

*Idea*Writers that have inspired me*Idea*

*Maya Angelou (just inspiring overall)

*John Steinbeck (incredible descriptions of times I'm glad not to be a part of)

*Janet Fitch (It took 20 years to write White Oleander. Her patience and dedication amaze me.)
