To the library we rode today
Just Momma and me for the whole day
Momma had homework from the big school
'Cause she's in college, which is way cool
We parked the car and rode the elevator
I pushed all the buttons, nothing could be greater!
We passed a fountain of water so high
It seemed to shoot straight up to the sky
We hopped up the steps and in through the door
There were millions of books like a book store
It was quiet inside so I kept quiet too
So Momma could do what she had to do
She worked on the 'puter until she was done
But I didn't want to leave, I was having such fun
Then Momma said she was pleased I was good
And behaved the way a young lady should
So she promised that we would return
To the giant building where we could learn
It's a wonderful place, I can hardly wait
With Momma and me, it will be really great!
