O you vast expanse of Oceanic Blue,
Why do you call me, tell me true,
to come to you.

O my guardian angel,
my soothing balm,
Why do you love me like you do?

O great mystery
Who can comprehend thee?
Waxing or waning of waters
has no effect on thee,
is this the lesson you want to teach me?


Should i likewise in sorrow or happiness be
same like you?
O you with the Blue hue.
