         She
         rearranged
         her very nature,
         her being --
         her

hard
lines, like
licorice,
bending ocean
grasses and tickling

         the
         wind... As she
         slowly glanced over
         her milky
         white

tendrils, she laughed through
the giggle in
her chest -- her
own form
such

         a
         mystery
         that even she had
         no grasp of
         what

she
was... but
as she bathed
in brilliant rays,
we longed for comfort

         and
         we studied
         her -- we analyzed
         her strangeness
         and

we brought the girl to
rest -- and then she
laughed at us
and said,
"See?!?"

and turned to stone -- and
so we learned that
even we
could be
changed...
