You should've been afraid, been petrified,
Been thinkin' what could happen to your port when you weren't by its side,
Cuz we spent the last few nights telling all that you did wrong,
And we wrote short reviews and we wrote ones that were quite long!

And so you're back, from the convention,
You walked in to find your mailbox stuffed full of good intentions.
You would’ve locked up that GC story,
You would’ve hidden your passkey,
If you'd known for just one second we'd be looking in to see.

You thought you'd go, walk out the door,
leave your port defenseless,
Well there were pirates at your door!
You thought you could just go conventioning,
but while you were gone,
who protected your writing?

It took all the strength we had not to fall apart,
after reading all these sad poems about broken hearts,
And we spent the last few nights typing all our fingers raw,
We never lied, and we rated you quite high!

With each raid, read something new,
Hit every port hard just to show our love for you,
We all felt like droppin’ in to see what we could see,
Now we'll sail on and raid more, yes that's the life we lead.
