a brief, silly poem about love, lust and passion
The fever of your touch I can not break
something unsettling left in this virus's wake

My naked youth in the Great Hall I exposed myself to you
With your silver dirk, my flesh you slew

Over and over again we devoured our beings
we were primal and sinless, the apple in Eden.

Then you vanished in a bittersweet cool breeze
sniffle, sob, sneeze...

And if I close my eyes in a quiet place
I can extend my fingers and feel your face

With my mind I invoke that time
yet without you it's like this poem-
shameless rhyme..
