What Now?

And God built,
And created,
And hoped for,
And gave to,
And the world was.

And God said,
"The world must
Have light to guide
And warm it."

And from the warmth of His heart
God created the sun
And presented it,
A token, to the earth.

And from the softness of His love
God created the moon
And presented it,
A token of Himself.

And from the gentleness of His mercy
God created the stars
And caused them to light the dark sky,
A token of Heaven with all its promise.

And from the depths of His wisdom
God created man,
That we might light the dark paths
For our neighbors.

God still builds,
And creates,
And hopes for,
And gives to...
And we are.

What now?
