What guys see in an "average" girl |
There was nothin in her eyes But black sapphire dyes That paint the ever seen night And i see hazel trees Around forest greens In her eyes ariund the ever deep night So i promise not to kiss her I won't even miss her This average girl with special eyes There was nothin in her smile But i sung for half a mile When i saw it glowing my way And i see petal lips My heart beat skips Around her smile that warms my day So my promise i keep Though she affecting my sleep This average girl with a stunning smile There was nothin in her touch That i longed for much But the feel of her velvet skin How our hands dance Like an Italian romance To the music of her calming soft skin So break my promise i won't And kiss her i don't This average girl with a wonderful touch There was nothing in her mind But a world i will find Full of sharing and caring things Loud waterfalls And deep secret pools Full of wisdom and colourful things So our lips come together Because i see her now and ever A beautiful girl in an average world This was written after i met a guy who had a crush on me. I tried to make him understand that he didn't want me because i was "average" and boring (not to meantion taken). However, later that day i caught a glimse of myself in my uni bedroom mirror and i realised that i and no one else, is average. We're all special and unique. And so i wrote this as a tribute to him. Please R & R. I've never written poetry before. |
