This is a true account. It happened just the way I have described.
The year was 1956. A tragedy happened with vivid memories, that linger. It was the loss of my older brother, Silas. Sawdust appears to be harmless. In this case, it was my brother's muderer.

Silas was a man that never took any chances about anything. He was always particular and cautious with all he did. This morning I speak, he chose to go to the other extreme. It was his duty to operate the hammermill. The hammermill was owned by a local company. Well, he didn't use the halter belt he was supposed to use. Silas fell in the sawdust that ocvered him.

Sawdust had been found everywhere inside of him. His mouth, eyes, ears were all containing sawdust. After discovering what had happened, it took some additional men to get him out of there. He died minutes later, at the local hospital.

Days later, I was working; at my station. It was a one-man job. So, while working, I saw Silas. He was at the foot of the stairs. His foot propped up against the wall. He was smoking a cigarette. There was more work to be done. So, I was doing my work. I turned back to where Silas was. He was gone. There were no words said by either of us. I regret having not asked him if he wanted something. The memory is ever present. Some may say it was just an apparition. An apparition, as you know is a ghost. It wasn't a ghost I saw it was my brother. Beware of occurrances like this happening, yourself. Don't feel it an apparition when it could very well be your loved one. If you can see through the image it is an apparition, most likely. If not able to see through it then you decide if the person was real and came back for one last visit.
