A fairy's secret is soon to be revealed. Watch and see!
'Hello I be a fairy princess named Kerri, I been cursed to live as a tiny fairy, most can become tall beautiful ones. I can't. But then...something miraculous happened, not just a miracle, better...

I was tending in my garden outside on my balcony of the little oak tree I lived in when I heard a large thunk, so I ran out to see what it was. Suddenly, as I looked over the beam, I noticed Kahl, my Fiancé` lying face up in the snow. "Kahl?! Kahl answer me!" worriedly I ran down and propped his head on my kneeling knee. Absent-mindedly I rubbed his forehead whispering encouraging words into his ear. Then my dad, king, omega, Dustin, came home. He noticed my holding onto Kahl and asked why I was crying. "Daddy, I don't know what happened! I was upstairs tending to my snowlillies and I came down to this!" He began to stroke my forearm. "It's ok, darling'," he whispered softly. "I'll find out what happened even if it kills me. As long as my baby girl is happy."

While he was sleeping I couldn't help but sneak a few peeks, then father Dustin yelled it was time for rest so I willingly went. I soon woke up to a rustling, so I went over to where I heard the sounds. Kahls room. I opened the door slowly, thank god it doesn't creak. I saw him wrestling something on the balcony and walked over slowly. Subconsciously. Suddenly I heard a shrill ear-piercing scream, from Kahl. I ran over to him and asked him what be matter with him but he didn't reply. Whatever he was fighting with had dark blue cloths on and luminescent green eyes. Then, only then, did Kahl scream again. "Kerii!! Run, He wants to kill you! Let me take care of him, you go find father Dussin! Then run, Kerii, run!!" I began to run hearing heavy feet behind me. Descending the steps with me. I ran into father Dustin’s room. Into his arms. Then I let the little girl inside me screaming for mercy let go. Soon I began to weep like the little girl I was inside.

Dawn was waning over the horizon around 8:00 AM, but then, we fairies have no use for time, and so what do I know. I forgot all about last night. But then it dawned on me, all at once. Like a fire engulfing a tree. "Father!!!" I screamed running down the steps. "Father! Father, where's Kahl? Please tell me he's not dead! I beg of you, tell me he's not dead. I love him he's not dead!!" "Calm, child," he began. "He has a very serious knife wound, nothing we fairies can't fix. Give him some time to rest, he'll be fine so." I screamed in joy and hugged my father the he grimaced. "Father, what's wrong?" I asked taking note to the sour look on his face. "Darling' after ye went to bed, I had to wrestle the one who went after Kahl, to keep from following you. He did nothing but hurt my back and forearm." he replied. "Child, go tend to your lilies." absent-mindedly I went to tend to my lilies. But then, I couldn't help but go in to sneak up on Kahl. I went in through the balcony doors. What I saw horrified me. "Kahl!" I shrieked. Suddenly his pale lavender eyes did what they did best, locked gaze on my pale baby blue eyes. I wanted to hug him. Oh how so. Then I saw the wound father Dustin spoke of. "Kahl, Darling?" he met gaze again and grimaced slightly putting his book away. Always Kahl, reading his books.

"Before Kahl," she wept. "How could you hurt me like this? I love you so! There is no reason to leave me!" then, during my protest Kahl walked in. His wing was slightly torn, his chest bloody, and his eyes still the same pale lavender. "Kahl..." he turned and looked me in the eye, wincing as he did so. "Kerii...Oh God Kerii!" he yelled. "Kerii, he followed you that night...Did the sourpuss harm you in anyway? I'll kill the bastard if he did! He had no right to-" she cut him off. "Kahl! Darling, he did nothing...you worry about your wounds, father Dustin, his wounds. And in a way, Darling', he did hurt me, but then, so did you." His expression soured at the thought of ever hurting his Fiancé`. "Not physically, but you tore my soul, lad. I never felt so much sorrow for the one I loved. I cried myself dry these last to fortnights. It's not fun being in my position." "Well mines no fun either! You want to be hurt, aching for the one you loved?! Crying internally that she made it out safe? It's not so fun being the one fighting this bastard off either!" he snapped. He then suddenly realized what he'd said, and who he said it to, and his tone. Then he caught glimpse of her crying. "Oh, Dear Lord and high heavens I did not just say that..." "Well you did! And damn you made my wounds worse!!" With that been said she ran off into the snow-clad dawn.

For a short while he chased after her. But with his wounds his breath caught in short labored breaths. He collapsed in the snow staring up at the darkened sky knowing there was danger ahead. He had to find her, she was in trouble! No, not trouble. Danger! "Kerii! Kerii are you out here? Kerii please answer me! For merciful heavens answer me so I know your alive, Darling'!"

Part 2: Dusk at Dawn

-----------------------------------------------

There was no sigh that she had been through where he looked, being as the snow covered his prints every 5 steps. He took note to the sky looming into a darker color, and then stopped seeing a light glow. He thought for a few moments, and then descended.

She looked at the pale green light beginning to engulf her. She began to shiver convulsively and cry wishing she had never yelled at Kahl, never run away. Now she was lost beyond the point of return. As the light inched up toward her breast she shrieked. "Kahl! Oh merciful heavens, dearest I'm sorry! Please help me!" She shrieked as loud as she could. With the snow as heavy as it was and winds so fierce, she doubted it would carry.

Kahl looked back toward the light he'd seen. He was but a few feet away. He ran over and saw Kerii in the middle of the field shivering convulsively. She was frozen. Then he took notice to the intense gaze set upon his pale lavender eyes. "So nice to see you Kahl! You found her, your smarter then we give you credit. But your darling here, has but a few moments of precious life left." her captor began to teeter precariously on his heels. She shrieked again as the light hit her lower neck the screamed in pain. "Let her go!" he shouted. "No,” He replied. He hadn't enough energy to fight but enough to stop the 'Light'. He took a deep breath then set the captor to ice immediately stopping the light, and saving her from her icy form.

She ran over and hugged him tightly vowing to never let him go. But then he screamed and fell to his knees. She knelt by him, cradling him, crying. Not knowing if they were tears of joy, or tears of his or her pain. Then he screamed again. She stared in horror as to the reason of his cries. Suddenly she realized... She silently cursed herself for not being smart enough to bring bandages, or telling her father, or at least not hugging him so fiercely.

All too quickly she realized all so soon where she was. She looks at the numb figure resting at her feet, seemingly sleeping, but she had her doubts. She screamed as loud as she could. No reply. She shrieked again. Still no reply. Suddenly she spotted a dear nearby. She numbly looked at it and lat her read its mind telling her it was safe. "He needs help! I need to get him back to my father!" She shrieked in a shrill voice. Then take him, if you cannot carry the lad, I'll help and carry him for you. Replied the deer. She leaned him on the dear's back and rode away flittering nearby to make sure the way was safe.

She stopped short, rasping for breath. Then she cried out as loud as she could. "Father! Kahl is dying! He needs help; only you can help him!" She soon noticed her father running out of the door and grasping her into a huge hug. "Father, worry not about me, fixate you worry on Kahl!" Kahl began to move slightly but not enough to indicate he was awake. Soon he was fully awake and she helped him up to his bed. "Kerii...I thought I died out there. Is that...that man gone yet...?" "Not yet. Father Dustin has many men on the case. Kahl...you scared me today. Don't ever do that again!" She shrieked noticing him nodding off. She walked down stairs to her fathers study.

She picked up the book Kahl was reading and began to breathe in labored breaths. She felt a presence. Not sure where she ran up to Kahl’s bedside and begged him to wake up. When he opened his eyes he noticed her crying. "Darling' what's wrong with ye?" he sat up on his elbows and looked in her eyes. "Kahl, that man is back, and I can't do shit to protect myself! Or you for that matter! What am I supposed to do, run into town? That doesn't work anymore Kahl, what do I do!?" He reached up and hugged her despite his condition. "Darling' If I die today, or tomorrow, it will be to protect you. I want you to go into town, leave me and your father behind. We'll take care of this guy. Please, Kerii, do it for me. Do it for us." he said begging her. "Us?" she asked. "Um....I read your mind in a way..." he blushed.”You were looking for a way to hide the pregnancy from me, hoping you wouldn't need me to get worried. I'm glad you’re having a child, we can be a family. But not at this moment." She began to protest but thought better of it. She got up and walked away. He could have sworn she whispered I love you, but he was disoriented maybe he was hearing things.

He began to wonder about useless things to fight this man, and then remembered the dirk her father had hidden away. "Father Dustin, are you almost done the healing process?" "Hold up lad, I will be soon enough!" He cried in pain then saw the blue glow of his wounds. Seeing them fade he began to prepare his descent. As soon as father Dustin announced he was finished he got up ran down, grabbed the dirk from the hearth and disappeared. Then he caught sight of the dark man again. He had his knife drawn aimed at father Dustin. "Father Dustin duck!" Father Dustin ducked down and the captor dropped the knife leaving it in Kahls grasp. Kahl threw it out the window leaving him defenseless, while he carried the dirk yet. Then the man vanished.

It had been a few months since the last attempt to capture Kerii. Though he knew the man was in hiding...planning. He sat at his desk forming a safe escape rout through the wood for Kerii. "Got it!" He scribbled it down with a note, lay it under the pillow that Kerri’s head was softly lain upon. He then descended to the balcony. He heard a shriek of Kerii then ran into her side. Then he noticed the man was there...he caught her yet again. Only this time he'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Why not. She shrieked again as he dug the dirk deeper into her arm. "Your lucky Kahl, I start with the easy parts, and then I kill." He stared for a few moments. Then he figured that the man was a former escapee he was looking for. "Jesse isn't it? Jesse Malone." The man stared in disbelief. "Well, Jesse, you just made a big mistake. Kerri’s father have men going around to secure the place, so with one shot I can either kill you, or have you arrested. What do you choose?" He asked. "Jail wasn't so bad," He replied. "But before I go, she goes with me. How do you plea against that Kahl?" He heard father Dustin scream from the window and the FNPD <Fairy Nether wood Police Department> came up. A shot rang out, someone died, and a scream was heard. Kahl looked over at the dead man lying on the floor; at least he hoped he was dead. The man tortured him since he was 5, he deserved what he got. He had noticed that Kerii had fainted, he had noticed father Dustin was wounded, and he had noticed his wounds as well. He ran over to where father Dustin, and Kerii were noticing a cop tending to Father Dustin's wounds. He carried Kerii over to the bed and laid her down.

"From spring it came,

within the time

my spouse is tamed.

They learn the specials,

what spring means.

Oh, in Fairy heavens

this night is dark.

For I have killed,

I have sinned.

Spare me, and I will no harm." quoted Kahl.

I had been a few months after; we try to forget events like this one. Kerii sat cradling the little baby boy they had, whom she promptly named Kylie. He was but a month old, but already took on features of his father. Kahl was still nurtured for his wounds, but every night prayed for the safety of his family. Father Dustin had passed on, to become a mortal human, reigning Kerii princess, and Kahl prince, of Nether wood. She found it very enchanting, the woods. But she had wondered, how would her life be if this man never came along? What if Kahl never found her that night in the woods? What if that man was still alive? But she'd be tired of playing the 'What If?' game. She walked outside to see a little human boy running through the woods. She had needed a master, perhaps he would fair. The little 4 inch blue light flittered around the boy and he stood staring in amazement. She stopped far away from the boy. She then tilted her head back and grew to a 5 foot 11 fairy. She then dusted off her golden silk dress, flittered her wings profusely, and tossed her hair back. She'd never done this before, so she wondered if Kahl would be shocked, or joyous. She looked at the boy who was smiling. "I am Dustin, ye are Kerii?" he asked. She smiled. "I am Kerii, would you like me as your guardian?" she asked. "Oh yes! My past daughter my fairy. By the way, may I meet Kylie?" Again she smiled. "For you anything." She saw Kahl from one of the trees earlier, she'd then wondered if he was still there. She sighed, then felt a hand on her shoulder. She then shrieked. Dustin giggled, and Kahl smiled walking in front of her. He held baby Kylie in his hands. She smiled up at Kahl who was a good 3 inches taller then her. "Hello father Dustin, how be mortal world treating ye?" asked Kahl. HE couldn't help but smile with profuse pride.
