My Star

The times we spent together,
The moments we share.
Though short
But precious and dear.
I cherish them,
Keep them safe in my heart,
Tucked warmly under the covers of my memory.

So sweet, and so warm is your existence.
So quietly, silently, softly, gently,
Fill my empty heart and
Nourish my empty soul,
Enrich my life with so much more.

I know you’re there,
