“Well, I finally figured it out.”

“That’s nice. Figured what out?”

“My New Years Resolution. Seriously, you can stop laughing now.”

“I’m sorry, but I was just thinking about last year, and the year before that and…..”

“OK, I get your point, but it’s different this time. I think its actually gonna work. Everybody usually gives something up with their resolutions but a resolution is nothing more than a promise to yourself to do something different from the way you’ve been doing it, or better.”

“So you’re not giving up watermelon this year?”

“Nope. You know I hate watermelon.”

“Smoking?”

“Nope. Don’t smoke. Remember?”

“You also don’t drink whiskey but you gave that up one year.”

“I’m telling you, this year is different. I’ll give you a hint. I’m not giving anything up. I’m going to do something better.”

“Wow! That leaves the field wide open. There’s so much you could improve upon.”

“Gee, Thanks. Tell me again why I married you?”

“My guess would be because you couldn’t find a fishing or hunting buddy that day. OK, I give. What’s your resolution?”

“To love you more this year than I did last year.”

“Ohhhh, Come over here, Snuggle Bunny.”
