Husband.
More than one I’ve had in my time.
Over the years I’ve found
Not all of them
Loved me.

Loved me?
Words that they really did not mean!
Words of love to woo me
But sadly they
Were empty.

Empty!
Words easy to say but not feel
Leave you wanting something
That you know is
Missing.

Missing.
So you continue to wonder
Why it isn’t working.
How in the world
Could it!

Could it?
Maybe with the one God sends you.
If you ask Him to find
The one for you,
He will.

He will
Gladly send the right one to you!
I asked Him and He said
“Okay! I will
Send Bill!”
