Loneliness

This pleasant morning,
I encountered a strange feeling.
Nobody was near, but a voice so clear.

I turned around astonished,
and everything appeared vanished.
I found myself in front of a mirror image,
me and my figure at one edge.

She said, "I am your companion,
call me Loneliness",
we laughed and cried in our togetherness.

But soon it broke amidst,
as the day persist.
I again felt like a loner in a crowd,
as my friend left the ground.
