Life's Red Light

LIFE'S RED LIGHT

Victim sits and waits as viewers stand by
Smoke and flame arise and we ask our eye

Did it go and break, really happened so?
Is life truly like the tide's ebb and flow?

Tears wash into pain and heartache crushes
Images burn the mind, the moment rushes

Take away the glass and torn metal casket
The pills set aside, booze in the basket

Chalky makeup on and the eyes are glazed
Walking wounded in catonic daze

And the whole scene ends in written hate
Just so the souls can set up a date

Feeling the end, day leads them to night
The epic cuts to a final sight
