Is behavior inherited or inherent?
When I see my mother
In her life of many years,
I understand how she used to have
So many silly fears.

Where was I at?
Who was I with?
Was the car safe?
Did I have an accident?

Now, when I call her for a chat
And she doesn't answer the phone,
I feel my heart racing, expecting the worst,
And race all the way to her home.

"Where are you going?
Where have you been?
If you don't tell me first,
I'll tell God it's a sin."

The sins of the children
Will visit them later,
When aged become the years
Of dear Mater and Pater.
