Questions, thinking to much about love gone wrong and wondering why, unhealthy really
Say nothing to me
I've said it all
Poured out my heart
Bared open my soul
Love unrequited

Your defences raised
So quickly clammed shut
Intruders repelled
Dashed onto sharp rocks
Allow me no glimpse
Of what's in your mind
Emotions trapped
Left un-revealed
Held captive behind bright eyes
Fading to blank

Flame allowed to burn out overnight
Not fanned
Fire's never re-stoked
Dusty embers gone cold
Fuelled only by pain
Silence
Distain

You've said nothing to me
I've said it all
