Natures lullaby

Sun relinquishes its hold on the day,
when the day has ended.
Moonlight and star shine exhibit a nightly display.
Subtle, yet splendid.

Creatures scurry around in the darkness,
before they settle down to nest.
Earth rejuvenates from the days starkness.
Natures time to rest.

Under moonlight, creatures softly chatter away.
In darkness, the breeze whispers a gentle sigh.
Earth prepares itself for the coming day,
But for now, listens to the sound of natures lullaby.
