The Real Monster

Lying and cheating against the wind!
You hate me since you cannot understand me.
I do not blame you though,
It is so hard to understand myself-
could I possibly expect you to even try?
It would be nice if you did not give up on me though.
For once I need someone to be there for me.
When I was child I had nobody to save me.
Through another mans pleasure,
I lost my innocence;
now I bear his mark.
I am a beast as a result.
