This is a poem about a lady as she faced death and died
There was an old lady
That lived down our street
She was known far and wide
For being gentle and sweet
As her memory began to fade
And her eyesight grew dim
She would sit for hours
Praying and singing a hymn
She had served her time
Her death was drawing near
She knew she'd meet her Savior
Without a tremble or a fear
For she had lived to serve others
And believed in the golden rule
She was an old fashioned lady
Straight from the old school
One night as she crawled into bed
She felt death's cold chill
She had gone to meet her Savior
According to God's great will.

We treasure your memory!
