FOLLOW ME

FOLLOW ME

The day was cold and dreary
And troubles seemed to loom;
I tried to find some happiness,
But all I saw was gloom.

Then I thought I heard
A voice so soft and low -
He said "Follow me"
And I knew I would go.

The sun appeared above me
And the chill had gone away,
My heart and soul felt happiness
As I could hear him say:

"Follow me!"

Oh, yes, I'll follow -
Through the tears and pain,
For I know my loving saviour
Will lead the way again.

When I am heavy burdened,
He is there to set me free;
So loving and forgiving -
All He asks is "Follow Me"!
