uncertainty

I’m worried, of the things that may hurt me
Of the things that could bring destruction to myself
Of the thoughts that run in my head

I’m doubtful, of the words you said to me
Of your promises
Or your vow of perennial bliss

I’m skeptic, thinking how the world around me works
Or what will I do when you’ve finally given up your hope for me

Or if I’ll wake up in your arms after a nightmare
Or finally, to wake up, and see that you won’t be there to hold me tight.

I’m uncertain …of the thoughts that play in your head
Or of the dreams you build for us
Of the words, you said to comfort me.

Can you blame me,
If these thoughts entered my mind?
Can you blame me if i worry too much...

when all along you did'nt give me any assurance...
nor the security that i won't be alone anymore...
