Her favorite flower, the red rose. She adored them. I gave her a fresh dozen virtually every week of our married life, yet she never tired of them. Each new offering brought tears to her eyes, for she knew the love and devotion that came with them. So emblematic is the red rose of our love that I had two of them engraved on her tombstone.
