A Boys Way Out

He's in a gang
oh what are we to do
he may be doing drugs
and he won't go to school

He was such a good child
always helping out
now he's running wild
we're left with alot of doubt

I can not believe it
it's what the policeman said
my son was in some trouble
but surely he's not dead

He was leaving
he finally had his doubts
but the gang's motto was
"Beaten in and beaten out"

It was a sad day indeed
when they put the coffin down
all the folks were wondering
what's happened to our town

We all banded together
to clean up our town and streets
that gang soon found out
angry parents are tough to beat
