such a miraculous invention causes...

Minds vacant but present,

the silence should be pleasant.

Eyes fixed but distant.

No exchange of wisdom.


A cough breaks the quiet.

Then just as fast falls silent,

The engine overlapping,

resumes its entrapping.


The kids change the mood.

The sudden smells of food.

The racket of phones,

a difference from the drone.


Phones take their attention

while the world flies by,

such a miraculous invention

causes interaction to die.
