Maybe someday.
I calmly walk through the busy street.
My body is exhausted. My head is pounding, a violent pulse that almost never rests.
But it's okay. I know it won't be forever.
I stare up into the sky, it's event horizon languidly trailing through deep space. The mix of deep purples and blues from its core compare nicely to the tall, lifeless buildings.
It continues to slowly grow, it's form increasing in size bit by bit each day.
Something tells me that it'll come to fruition soon. Something about it seems to call to me, in a strange, almost frightening way.
Sometimes, I wish it would just happen already.
But I wait.

Unfortunately, they do not.
They climb into their cold shuttles, each seat boarded and stuffed by the ones too restless to be patient.
Without warning, it shoots off into the deep blue, black, and purple; never coming back out.

I can't help but wonder..
Perhaps it doesn't really mean the end of the line.
When we go through, it could be a different place entirely.
But, even if it was.. would we be able to survive, so out of our element?

Perhaps I would be able to.

..no. I'm not ready to move on yet.
