Old Friends

Your eyes are filled with wisdom

they so wish to share,

all that has passed through them

for those of us who care.

I do love so many

to count would never do,

you have made my heart joyful,

I shall cherish all of you.

Life is filled with gladness,

for all of us to see,

but if we choose the sadness,

such is our eternity.

The roads we walk are long,

some are hard to follow,

but loving all of you,

my soul cannot be hollow.
