The stories of the Pokemon World usually focus on the heroes and their deeds. Not these. |
Welcome to the World of- What do you mean that's the wrong intro? The stories of the heroes of the Pokemon World, particularly those of the humans-turned-Pokemon, are unsurprisingly popular. Who wouldn't want to be like those legendary figures who saved the world time and time again? To be known and respected the world over. Or, at least, across an entire continent. But the stories of heroes are often embellished or cut-out parts that make their heroes feel less heroic. And besides, not everyone is cut out to be a hero or happen to get lucky enough to end up with a worldwide crisis to avert. These are the stories of the Pokemon World left untold. That is what this interactive is about. Writing stories of Pokemon (potentially former humans) who live in a world of Pokemon where humans are very rare, myths, or outright non-existent. Beyond that, the story may take whatever path you want! Perhaps you will write a story that is an alternative telling of the PMD games. Perhaps you will tell of the heroes of a whole new story. Maybe your story is just about some country bumpkin or a tragic, unfortunate soul. You might even tell of events that are less than suitable for youngsters to hear of. Being an interactive, you don't even have to do this alone. You and several other writers might work together to create an amazing story. The world is all of your oysters! The Rules (I know, I know, they are just here to make sure things run smoothly) 1. Grammer and Spelling. Please try to make sure your chapters are written well. I'm not going to grammer police and delete chapters over a single error. I make them too, after all. But chapters that are difficult to understand often end up as dead storylines and nobody likes entertaining stories that just end because someone couldn't both to try. 2. Relevancy. When adding a chapter, try to keep it consistent. Adding chapters that have nothing to do with the story that was being told or that inject random nonsense also tend to kill stories. No one wants to put effort into something only for someone else to come along and destroy it. 3. Content Warning. This interactive in general does not ban writing of any kind. That said, not everyone is into the same kind of stuff as you. If your chapter is going to include something that may make other readers disgusted or uncomfortable (fetishes, gore, sexual activities, etc.), include a content warning either in the chapter title or at the very beginning of the chapter. Additionally, the very first chapter is going to include SFW/NSFW options. Keep the juicy stuff where it belongs. 4. That's it. No, really. No rules about choices chapters (I'd prefer you keep it reasonable, but this is also a Pokemon interactive. Thousands of different Pokemon makes choice chapters inevitable). No rules about not making the Pokemon anthros (I do prefer non-anthros unless the Pokemon are normally anthros, but this isn't about me). Just remember rules 1, 2, and 3 and enjoy yourself! Of course, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and Pokemon in general are trademarked and copyrighted by Nintendo, Game Freak, and the Pokemon Company. |
