LORE: people from another world start to take power from the light entity, the dark entity which is the light's sibling seeks revenge on the people, killing the plants and other life forms and destroying the planet. the light entity lived upon the power of things that last and don't end after death. The dark entity gets power from the slow ends of things and death. They worshiped the light entity of their past planet, but they took it too far when they wanted to further ascend and began to take her power and in doing so they weakened her and now all that remains of her is the power in them. They believed it should be theirs after worshiping the entity for so long. So, the people fled to a new world, but the dark entity fallowed, and that arrival created cataclysmic events on Vulkon such as earthquakes, flooding, storms and other natural phenomena's this is called The Volkuning. Angered by the people trying to escape, the dark entity began to curse them causing some of them to become Darklings. They were shunned out from the Lightlings who deemed them unholy, cursed and doomed. They also believed that if the other people's saw them with them, they would believe them the cause of the events. Valun the mother entity of Vulkon tried to keep the world together but the dark entity continued its revenge to the expense of the world and many lives. However, this took much strength for the dark entity so it is now more dormant and the effects it was causing on the world have dimmed. The Lightlings thought that they had gotten away with taking the power but over time the Darkling has gained strength back, so it is making the Lightlings become more effected by containing the light energy. Now the Lightlings try to hide their twisted past from the other peoples as to not face the consequences.

TREELINGS: Tree people who live in a giant tree that is the size of a small continent, they have a strong military enhanced by their powers of nature manipulation, women are in dominant positions and are majority of population by a 3 to 1 ratio, they have a strong bond with one another and believe life is sacred however will not shy away from conflict when provoked and are revered for their fighting capabilities.

History: the Treelings lived in a old forest of giant trees and lived a very wholistic life and were connected to nature so they are able to connect with their spirit and project it physically. The more spiritually trained to impersonation and connection one is the more forms they can take and the better they can spiritually communicate. Through this they are able to make the tree the way they want.

Monarch Ruler:

Appearance: skin with colored tints, four arms, slim figured and generally fit, hair is usually worn long for both genders and the longer the more beautiful in their culture, longer canines, very dark nearly black eyes of varying colors

Powers: plant matter, sensing lifeforms, spiritual impressions, shifting (royal line only)

Resources: many plants which are made into medicines, fish, wood, animals, water

UNDERLINGS: a people who live in underground caverns and view light as sacred and is found in the form of glowing crystals in their homeland caverns as well as but less commonly used and more highly revered fire, skilled craftsman especially in forging enhanced creations, view men and women as equal and are a tranquil non conflictive species, they are often viewed as weak however they have an inner strength developed during their long lives and through that have survived many hard times.

Democratic system with a council

Appearance: thick and tough grey bluish slightly iridescent pale skin, larger people than nearly every other race and usually muscley, crystals grow in the place of hair in varied colors, don't really have canines, pale eyes in light blue/grey to whiteish

Resources: Ores, stone, crystals, water, mushrooms, algae, minimal fish, snails, worms, amphibians, mice, jellyfish things

Main Character: son of council member (father)



LIGHTLINGS: the Lightlings pose as a peaceful righteous race to cover up their history and to make their sudden appearance make sense. They have created a false identity as fallen righteous entities that were shaken from their home by the cataclysmic events of the Vulkoning. Their history tells that they fell into a vast body of water and began to build their new home from the wreckage of their civilization off the coast in a deep ravine. Now they live in their large city mostly undisturbed and with a poor relationship to their former kin. Though it created much life and beauty now the power slowly has begun to destroy their bodies. It makes their once immortal lives very mortal as they will eventually explode when their bodies can't hold the power anymore. It is a power that with one wrong move can erupt if control is not maintained.

Has a council with a lead member

APPEARENCE: Light shines through their skin, cracks of light run across their skin and as they get older the cracks get bigger as their skin gets more ashen and patches of flesh fall off and are replaced by a glowing part beneath, their eyes let of a golden glow, their hair comes in varying shades of black to brown to blond to white,

Resources: water, fish, shellfish, stone and some ores,

Main Character: council member whose daughter gets killed to keep their secrete safe
