Nature vs Nurture
Too Blind

I walked
and saw the birds fly by.
Great people falling from heights
They’ll never tell.

I listened
and heard the birds murmur.
The deeds of the people,
They’ll never hear.

I touched
a bird in his softness.
The people, in their cruelness,
They’ll never feel.

The people, in their infinite glory,
and put themselves as number one.
They trample the poor, the lost, the lame.
They’ll lose in the end.

Yes, they’re blind,
and the world is passing them by.
They’ll never be,
and they don’t know why.
