Anthro heroes and villains clash to decide the fate of the planet.
[Introduction]
In a distant dimension far removed from our own, there lies the planet of Anthronius. Populated solely by what we would refer to as "Anthros" or "Furries", the world was once split into several independent countries, much like our own world. Also like our world, said countries seemed to constantly be at war with each other over one petty reason or another.

That all changed the day the asteroids hit.

Multiple radioactive stones made impact with the planet, causing anyfur exposed to their radiation to become deathly ill. Many died from the radiation sickness, but those who survived found themselves suddenly possessing incredible abilities, such as super strength or speed, control of the elements, telekinesis, etc.

Comic books and the concept of superheroes don't exist in this world, so this was all generally seen as extremely abnormal. Then, one survivor of the radiation, a wolf who had developed powers similar to the one we on Earth would refer to as Superman, had an idea.

He had grown tired of the endless fighting and rampant corruption of the world's governments, but never could do anything about it before. He thought why not use his newfound powers to end the the constant conflict and suffering of innocent people?

It wasn't long before he gathered other like minded survivors and one by one, the systematically eliminated the corrupted officials that ensured that once one war ended, another would begin and exploited those too weak to do otherwise.

That had been twenty years ago. Now, Anthronius is united by a single worldwide government, overseen by the worlds "saviors", who formed The Council, consisting of their founder, the wolf who went by the codename "Uber-Wolf", as well as his nine followers. Under their rule, the world has known a lasting peace for the last two decades.

That's not to say, however, that everything is perfect. The council is known to ruthlessly eliminate any and all threats to world peace, innocent civilians, or to their rule. If that means making an example of said threat, so be it. This of course, has caused a large divide in public support for them. Many support their policies, seeing it as the best way to maintain long-term peace and prosperity. Others disagree, seeing their willingness to kill their enemies outright as making them no better than the enemies themselves. Because of this, there are some who are part of an underground resistance against the Council consisting of those with and without powers of their own alike.

Yon-Kar, better known to the world as Uber-Wolf, stared out the viewport of the Council's spacestation overlooking the planet. For twenty years now, the world had known peace, likely for the first time in it's history. He and the rest of The Council had seen to that. Gone were the days of endless war and strife, and the needless deaths of countless innocents. But, for some unfathomable reason, there were those who didn't seem to want peace.

There were those who actively tried to sabotage The Council's efforts, calling themselves the A.L.M., the "Anthronius Liberation Movement." As far as the council was concerned, they were a terrorist group. trying to revert Anthronius back to how it was before for their own selfish reasons. But as long as he and the other council members had breath, they would not let them succeed.

Just then, in stepped FyreFox. She was both literally and figuratively, the hottest member of the Council, a vixen with the power of Pyrokinesis, and drop dead beautiful to boot. "Something on your mind?" She asked, and Uber-Wolf turned to face her. "Just thinking on what we've accomplished these last twenty years. And how the ALM want to undo all our work. I just don't understand. Why would anyfur want to go back to constant war?"

FyreFox placed her hands on his shoulders, giving him a light kiss. "It doesn't matter why. What matters is we'll stop them. Once they've been dealt with, nothing will ever threaten the innocent or our world again." They both looked out the viewport down at the planet together. "Soon enough." Said FyreFox "Soon Enough..."

Meanwhile deep in the ocean's depths lay one who was not yet a member of the ALM but was already seriously considering it.

Her name was Aquamarine, friends called her Aqua, Aqua was a Teenage Thresher Shark and is or was the Princess of one of the largest Undersea Kingdoms of the Planet, her Father a Great White Shark named Poseidon was one those Anthros who had benefitted the most from the wars on the Oceans' side as a leader...In fact he was a literal loan shark, making Aqua something of a Mafia Princess.

Aqua had gained the powers of hydrokinesis which was very handy as she couldn't breathe out of the water, so with her powers, she was able to create a bubble of water around herself and give it the ability to float so she could travel on land. Still, she hadn't revealed this power to any land dwellers yet.

Since the establishment of the one-world government, her royal family had been on the run, traveling across the planet's larger ocean and fleeing the Council's Forces, fortunately since most of them were air breathers their ability to travel in the deep sea was limited.

So while they were hiding in yet another sea cave, Aqua was keeping up to date on what was essentially a Tablet made for underwater creatures, joining super secret chatrooms learning about the resistance
Tabitha watched as one of the Council went past her. The skunk had to be careful not to touch them. She didn't want them to find out what she could do. She heard stories about what would happen if she was found out.

After all, she had a Power.

It wasn't something like super flight, or strength, or speed, or intelligence. But, what she had could tip the scales in a fight against those with a Power.

She could nullify others' Powers. It wouldn't last long - but five minutes could be a lifetime to those that once shrugged off blows from clubs and blades, only to discover that they were vulnerable now.

The skunk could imagine how anyone could force her to use that ability.
In a secret underground ALM base, some Council scientists who had defected to the resistance were putting on the finishing touches to a top secret project. The council used an advanced AI satellite program to continuously scan the planet for spikes in radial energy. This was a sign of a being with active powers. The defected scientists were able to steal blueprints of the device and replicate it for the ALM, in an effort to recruit more superpowered furs to their cause. However, the device could only reveal the subject's location, not their name or appearance. Upon activating the device, it revealed a potential recruit in the city of Ashanov. Which meant the Council likely had pinged them as well...

In the basement of an abandoned house in Ashanov, The brilliant hacker, scientist and inventor known as Brainchild was taking some time to relax from his usual routine. Currently, he was kicking the butts of multiple opponents at an online shooter game. Brainchild was a male cat with an abnormally large head, due to his powers having supercharged his brain.

His abilities included telekenesis, mind reading, super intelligence, and he could even levitate himself off the ground with his psychic abilities. In addition to that, he had built his own secret underground laboratory. Granted, he really just loaded the basement of his old home with high tech gadgets, but still, pretty impressive for a twelve year old.

Suddenly, his security system notified him of intruders lurking topside around the house. He paid it no mind at first. He had put in plenty of security measures to ensure nobody could reach him unless he let them in. When suddenly...
BOOM!

An explosion knocked out all the security measures.

"Perimeter secure!" FyreFox announced.

One of the spaceships outside the house had lifted off into the sky. FyreFox held up a ray gun to keep Ashanov from interfering.

Meanwhile, on a planet known as Earth, fourteen friends (humans, in fact) were stargazing with a telescope. Their names were Nick, Jenny, Jason, Julia, Chip, Lucy, Chad, Darcy, Xander, Maya, Cody, Melody, Madison, and Vida. This was Jason's telescope they were using. When it was Xander's turn, he noticed an object heading straight for Earth.

"Look out!" He called. "It could be a meteor!"

The group rushed into Jason's house to wait for the inevitable. Moments later, they looked out the window to see a spaceship in the backyard. Its door opened and out stepped a pink cat the size of a four-year-old child. It had a ponytail on the back of its head and wore a rainbow-colored dress.

"Greetings, earthlings," it said. "My name is Princess Catalina of the planet Anthronius. We are in the middle of a war and I came for assistance."

"No, thanks," Maya said. "Our parents told us never to talk to strangers."

"Please understand," said Princess Catalina. "I can't take no for an answer."

She opened her eyes really wide, making her pupils as big as they could get. The young group came to the ship under her spell. When the door closed, the ship took off and headed for its port of origin.

"On the way to my planet," Princess Catalina said. "I'd like to know you all in the style of a game you earthlings call two truths and a lie. Two of your statements should be facts, or truths, and one must be a lie. Then, I'll try and guess the lie. The catch is I can't get help from your fellow earthlings."
Back on Anthronius, within a ice cave, a male artic fox named Glacier was currently sitting at a computer dressed in a red and blue artic coat, pants, and boots, watching as it tracked Princess Catalina's ship, making sure no enemies are tracking or following her.

         "Okay, so far so good."

Standing up, he stretched before shooting a ice beam as a glass full of soda to cool it down.

"Just gotta make sure to find any thing that may cause trouble."

It was right then he fired a beam towards the ceiling, freezing a enimy assassin to the roof wiyh countless others.
Um...Is bringin g in humans OK?

Meanwhile under the sea, Aqua felt if she wanted to get her family back to their rightful place of rulers of the ocean...She had to join the ALM...However, doing so would mean getting away from her overprotective father! How to do it?
Tabitha managed to make it to her place, and opened the door. As she was about to enter, something zoomed past her, inside, taking her groceries.

She looked, and saw a rabbit in some kind of outfit, setting her things down.

"What, no doughnuts or candy?" the rabbit asked, looking inside the bag. "Nothing sugary besides fruit?"

"I try to avoid overly sweet things," Tabitha said. "What you you want, Fastjack?"

"Sensor picked up on your Power, and I was in the area," the rabbit said. "Noticed that you really made sure that you weren't near me. Made me wonder."

"Stalking is a crime, you know," said Tabitha. "It's also trespassing to enter someone's home without permission, unless you had something that said that it was legal."

"Didn't answer my question," said Fastjack.

"Depends on if you got five minutes where you won't be needed to help out the rest of the Council, or someone in need of help, and I don't need help," said Tabitha. "You have a reputation - you are willing to sit down and talk with those who have issues with things. Others do not. Anyone else would try to just drag me away, and force me to join the Council, or get me locked up as a Resistance sympathizer. Here's the thing - I'm just trying to live my life, and I'm not trying to harm anyone."

"So, why would I need to make sure that I had five minutes where I didn't need to help people?" Fastjack asked.

"Because for five minutes, you'd be as fast as any ordinary rabbit person, along with losing any other power you might have," said Tabitha. "That is, if you touched me."

"So, you can nullify another's Powers?" Fastjack asked.

Tabitha nodded. "For five minutes," she said. "Not real long, but if you were in an emergency situation, then five minutes could mean the difference between life and death."

"You make a good point," the rabbit said. "Perhaps we can talk later. I'm going to take a five minute walk, if possible." With that, they walked out of the skunk's home.

Tabitha let out a sigh of relief. In a way, she was glad that it had been Fastjack - as fast as the rabbit was, they were known to empathize with even their worst rogue.
Meanwhile, back at Brainchild's lair...

"I really don't appreciate unexpected visitors." Said Brainchild "Especially when they make such an unnecessarily destructive entrance." FyreFox ignored his remark, looking around at his "Laboratory". "Very impressive." She said admirably "Did you make all these things yourself?"

"Yes. Don't think I don't know who you are. You're with the Council." FyreFox chuckled. "Then you must also know why I'm here. I come offering an invitation for you. It's pretty obvious you're very smart, even if you're physically just a kid. How about putting that huge brain of yours to better use? The council could provide you with a much better lab and limitless resources. Just think of what you could create! What we could accomplish together! For the good of all Anthronius!"

Brainchild hesitated. He knew the Council's policies on how they dealt with threats. He'd never intended to use his inventions for killing anyone! Still, it was extremely tempting...

"I'll give you some time to think it over." Said FyreFox " But bear in mind, if you refuse, I'll still have to take you into custody. The Council can't risk someone with your talents falling into the hands of the likes of those ALM terrorists. You have three days to decide your answer." With that, FyreFox flew off into the sky in a streak of flame, back towards the Council's spacestation. Using his telekinetic powers, Brainchild repaired the damage to his lab, pondering the Council's offer. He should have known this war would come to him sooner or later. Now he had no choice but to pick a side.
Meanwhile, Princess Catalina landed her ship on Anthronius with the young heroes in tow.

"I must take you to meet my parents," she said.

She led them to the royal palace and they followed her inside.

"Their royal highnesses, King John and Queen Sarafina!" The herald announced.

The doors opened, and in strolled a cat that was so huge in size, he looked like a giant ball on legs. He wore a red robe and brown trousers. His whiskers were curled like a mustache and he had a pointed beard on his chin. His right paw had a ring on each finger. He also has an emerald ring on his tail. Since he was king, we mustn't forget the crown.

Behind him strolled a rabbit in a blue dress. She had the longest ears the kids had ever seen. The ears were so long that footmen had to carry the ends off the ground. Her tiara was silver with rubies that adorned the middle. She only came up to the king's waist.
"Glad your journey was safe Princess Catalina."
Walking in, Glacier walked in with what looked like a scanner in hand. Walking up to the group of humans, he scanned each of them, finding them to be all healthy.
Swimming into the sea cave, Aqua went over to one of the few servants the family still had with them.

A young Lanernfish named Luminous most called him Lumio a 'page' who served to provide light in case of emergencies...Aqua found him drawing on waterproof paper...Lumio loved to draw is his family hadn't served her family for generations he probably would have become an artist.

"Hey Lumio..." Aqua said swimming over to him "...What are you drawing?"

"A creature I've been seeing in my dreams..." Lumio said

"What is it?" Aqua asked

"I don't know..." Lumio said "...Looks kind of like a...Hairless ape..."

"Eww..." Aqua said as she looked at the picture "...A hairless ape with a bulbous downward nose like a Proboscis monkey? What a freak show! Lumio...The depths of your imagination can be downright spooky!"

Aqua turned to Lumio "Lumio I need your help with something..."
Tabitha decided to make herself a fruit salad. She also checked her finances, to see if she could buy a security camera, or two. She didn't want any more unexpected surprises.
(I appreciate all of you guys joining in the story, but I think it's getting rather disjointed with the constant switching back and forth. Can we try to do a more focused narrative from here on out?)

Unfortunately for Tabitha, that's exactly what she got at that very moment. No sooner than she had finished her salad, her doorbell rang. Answering it, she froze in fear to see another member of The Council standing on her doorstep. He was known as Gigawatt, a lizard with electrical powers who could generate enough energy to surpass that of a lightning bolt, if he so desired.

"Good evening, Miss. I'm sorry to bother you, but may I come in? I have something important I need to discuss with you, and it would be best done in private."

Tabitha hesitantly stepped aside, never taking her eyes off him as he entered her home. Sitting in her living room, Gigawatt said "I'll cut right to the chase. I'm here on Council business. We have detected there is someone in this home with powers like us. Seeing as you're the only resident on record for this house, that must be you, correct?"

"B..b..but...how could you possibly..?"

"Oh, we have our ways. Now, don't be shy. I'm actually here to offer you a great opportunity! I'm offering you a seat on the Council, and the chance to use your abilities for the greater good of the world! Just what is your power, may I ask?"

Tabitha tried to remain calm, but on the inside she was beginning to panic. They had finally found her. She could use her ability to disable Gigawatt's powers, giving her a chance to make a run for it. But if she did that, she'd become a fugitive. Or she could accept the Council's offer, but she didn't really want to do that either. Basically, she was damned if she did, and damned if she didn't.

What to do?
Tabitha remembered a message she had received from the king and queen.

"The princess found some recruits to help us in the war," she explained. "Her parents request everyone from the council present."

"So I've heard," Gigawatt said. "We'd better leave immediately. Glacier, Aqua, Lumio, FyreFox, and the rest of the council have already arrived."

"Where do think those recruits came from?" Tabitha asked.

"They came from a planet called Earth," Gigawatt told her.

The two rushed to their vehicle to the royal palace to meet the new recruits from the planet Earth.
Meanwhile, under the sea, the next morning Aqua's parents found that in Aqua's bed instead of Aqua herself was a life-sized doll stuffed with 'Sea Cotton' Aqua was now on her way to join the ALM...

The leader of the ALM was an Anthro Cobra named Lazurus he had immense psychic powers and as he sat on his throne he saw Aqua coming swimming to the meeting place
(Wait, who is on whose side?)

Tabitha made sure to keep her hands to herself, along with everything else. There was no telling what could happen. After all, she didn't know who to trust.
Back in the royal throne human, the newly arrived humans had just been debriefed on the situation. "So, let me get this straight..." Said Nick "This planet has been run by these superpowered Council guys for the last twenty years, and the king and queen are pretty much just figureheads?" The king and queen nodded sadly.

"And you brought us here because you expect us to help you, even though we're just ordinary humans, with no powers at all?" He said to Catalina. "Do you not see the problem here? From what you've told us, these council guys are willing to kill anybody they see as a threat. How are we supposed to do anything against them?"

"That's just it." Came a voice that immediately sent a surge of fear through everybody in the room. "You don't!" Uber-Wolf and FyreFox came crashing through the ceiling, glaring at the king and queen. "We were kind enough to allow you to keep your lives and your throne. And this is how you repay us?" FyreFox said with the tone of a disappointed mother.

Uber-Wolf turned to the humans and said "I don't know who, or for that matter, what the lot of you are. But this is not your concern. I'll give you all one chance to walk away, and return to your world." Most of the humans seemed to actually be considering his offer. Catalina looked towards them, silently pleading with them to refuse.

"Suppose we say no." Cody said hesitantly "What then?"

"Then we will consider you an enemy, along with the traitorous royal family. You will be left to burn alongside them as we torch this palace to the ground." Said FyreFox, fireballs igniting in her palms. It didn't take much convincing than that to get most of the humans to back down. But a few still wouldn't walk away.

"Guys! we can't just leave them like this! Don't any of you have a conscience?"

"Don't you have a sense of survival? Look at them! What are we supposed to do against them? They'd splatter us all over the wall in an instant!"

As the humans kept bickering back and forth on the right thing to do, Fyrefox began setting fire to the tapestries adorning the room. Catalina could only cower alongside her parents as they awaited their fate.
"Your majesties!" Julia called. "We're coming!"

Xander tossed his backpack at the burning tapestries, knocking them away from the royal family. Tabitha managed too rally the other good guys to help.

"Bravo," FyreFox said, clapping her paws. "Let's see how you do against this!"

She got ready to breathe fire on the humans and the the royal family.

"That's enough!" A voice called out. "I'll handle this."

An anthropomorphic cat, who only came up to the king's chest, marched in. He was muscular, had a goatee and a fire-shaped scar on his left arm, wore an open vest, showing off his 6-pack abs, camo pants held up with a gold chain belt, and combat boots. He looked like he could've been a professional wrestler.

"Well, brother," he mocked. "It seems you have your warriors ready."

"Catastrophe, my daughter brought these warriors to us for a reason," King John said.

"It seems I should've been king," Catastrophe said. "Instead of you. Look at you, all that eating has paid off. You should've been into physical fitness like me."

"You leave my husband alone!" Queen Sarafina shouted. "You may have been next in line, but John was the oldest of the two of you."

"Very well," Catatrophe said. "Then I suppose I'll have to destroy the planet of which these humans came from."

"No, uncle," Catalina begged. "We can negotiate."

"Negotiations," Catastrophe said. "Father always believed negotiations were the answer to everything."

"Father negotiated peace with Earth in 1951," King John said.

"And looked what happened to them," Catastrophe said.

"You were a traitor!" Queen Sarafina barked. "My husband had the right idea to banish you!"
From the side, Glacier froze Fyrefox's hands, canceling her powers temporarily.
"Cool down there Fyrefox. No need to start a fire here."
Stepping on a stone, a click was heard as a five layered laser force field started to surround the three intruders, trapping them in.
Meanwhile on the other side of the world, Aqua used her powers to create a water bubble around herself and entered the cave that was the secret entrance to ALM Fortress.

"Ah! Aquamarine!" Said Lazurus the Cobra "Right on time too! Not a moment too soon...I am seeing the Council are causing having in the King and Queen's Palace, the Arctic Fox with ice powers is helping but we could really use your water powers to combat that Flaming Fox!"

"How am I supposed to get there?" Aqua asked

"I can teleport you there...." Said the Cobra
Tabitha got out of the vehicle, when Gigawatt stopped it.

"There are days I wonder why that vixen is part of the Council," said the lizard. "Someone should de-power her."

"What do you mean?" Tabitha asked.

"Fastjack told me of your ability," said Gigawatt. "A number of us have felt that some members of the Council have forgotten what it means to be without powers, especially those who are getting too arrogant."
Uber-Wolf scoffed as he and FyreFox were surrounded by the forcefield. "You think this can stop us?" As he began to pound against the barrier, it began to visibly crack like glass. FyreFox, meanwhile, was thawing her hands with her flames. "When we get out of here, the lot of you are finished!" She said menacingly.

"Which is why we're leaving now!" Aquamarine said as she stepped through a portal appearing behind the humans. "Quick, before they break free!" The humans didn't have a clue what was going on, but figured it was better than sticking around with a trio of superpowered homicidal maniacs.

They all ran through the portal along with the royals, Aqua closing it behind them as they found themselves in ALM headquarters. Not long after that, Uber-Wolf managed to break the final layer of the shield. "Put out a broadcast." He said to FyreFox "Tell the public their king and queen have betrayed them and the Council, as well as brought those hairless ape things to our world."

"On it." FyreFox said, already typing on her wrist computer. "They won't be able to go anywhere on this planet without being recognized as fugitives."
Watching from behind the guards, Princess Catalina and Glacier rushed to the king and queen's prison.

"Daughter, you must get to ALM Headquarters," King John said. "Let them and the recruits know about FyreFox and Uber-Wolf's betrayal."

"I can't leave you," Catalina begged. "I love you, guys."

"Don't worry about us," Queen Sarafina said, reassuring her. "We'll be fine. Glacier will take care of you until we are free."

"Don't worry, your majesties," Glacier said. "I've helped you more than a time or two in the past. Your daughter's in good hands."

With that, the two managed to sneak out of the palace without being caught by Catastrophe and his goons. They boarded a carrier and headed for ALM HQ.
Looking to the princess, he saw her just barely holding her tears in. Seeing this, he took out a fresh hankerchief and handed it to her.
Seeing this, Catalina looked to Glacier before gently taking the hankerchief.
"Calm your tears Princess, you'll see your folks again. Till then, know they are entrusting you to help lead and inspire those who respect you for who you are."
Handing her a bag, he took another before walking to a stack of boxes.
"For now, calm yourself, then change into the clothes in the bag. They'll be looking for us, we best make it a bit tougher for them. Take your time, we got a two days ride before we reach the AML."
With that, he went behind the stack of boxes, leaving Catalina to let her emotions out freely as she cried into the hankerchief.
So they all went through the portal to the ALM headquarters, which Lazarus protected from the council with a psychic barrier if the Council got to close they would suffer from the barrier's hypnotic suggestion that said 'There is nothing here' and their vision would get clurry and they would see nothing until they left.

"Ah..." Said the large blue and yellow striped cobra "...The strange hairless apes I saw in my dreams..."
Gigawatt soon came upon the throne room, just after Uber-Wolf and FyreFox had made their announcement. The lizard took stock of the damages. "Okay, requirement for a future recruit - Specializes in Anger Management as a day job."

"Is that some idea of a joke?" FyreFox asked.

"Actually, I'm being serious for once," said Gigawatt. "Where's the King and Queen at? They'd better not be dead, otherwise, there's grounds for a full-scale war against the Council, one that would result in us losing."

"Why would you say that?" Uber-Wolf asked.

"You don't just kill a King and Queen and walk away unscathed, as they do have supporters, a number of whom have Powers of their own," said Gigawatt. "Also, our weaknesses aren't exactly secret to those who watch us. Also, there are ways where we could lose our abilities, even if temporary. Keep that in mind." He turned, and walked away.

"What are you doing?" Uber-Wolf asked.

"Someone needs to come up with a positive spin on the story you spat out," the lizard called back. "Labeling the King and Queen Traitors is a bad idea. We'll be lucky if we get to keep our heads!"
Back at ALM headquarters...

"Forgive me for being so forward..."Lazarus said to the humans "But what exactly are you? I've never seen creatures such as yourselves."

"We're humans." Said Cody "From the planet Earth."

"Do you have any special abilities?" Lazarus asked "Can you fly? Control the elements? Shoot lasers from your eyes? Anything like that?"

The humans all shook their heads. "Not really." Chad said "Our species as a whole is generally believed to be the most intelligent on our world. But other than that, there's nothing really special about us in particular."

"Then why did the princess bring you here?"

The humans shrugged "We honestly have no idea." Said Maya.

Lazarus suddenly had a grave look on his face. "I hope she wasn't planning what I think she's planning." The humans all gave confused looks. "What do you mean?" Lazarus hesitated before explaining. "The Council and the ALM gained their abilities from being exposed to radiation from asteroids that struck our planet twenty years ago. Many who were exposed became deathly sick and did not survive. But those who did got incredible abilities. I hope Catalina wasn't planning to expose you lot to the same thing, in hopes of gaining new superpowered recruits against the Council. For all we know, it won't affect your kind the same way it did ours."

"I believe the reason is simple," a voice said.

It was Princess Catalina. She was now wearing a purple crop top , black pants, and red boots. Glacier strolled in behind her.

"Every night, I'd have this dream," she said. "It was always the same since I was little. I would walk through a dark void and a mysterious voice would tell me 'the past is not what it seems.' The answer would come to me from Earth. FyreFox kidnapped me from contacting your planet. When we got to Ashanov and Brainchild's house, I managed to hijack the ship to find help."

Jason approached her and placed his hand on her shoulder to comfort her.

"Xander and I happen to be inventors," he said. "Maybe we can invent something to help."

Catalina smiled.

"Thanks," she said. "That would mean a lot to me. I wonder what the voice meant when it said 'the past is not what it seems'?"
         "Hm... The past..."
Walking past Catalina, Glacier, now dressed in a blue T-shirt, jogger pants, a pair of sneakers and sunglasses, he strolled to a table before thinking a bit.
'Could it be about the meteor that gave us these powers? Or something that dates back even further...?'
Cody took one look at the Shark Lady floating in a bubble of water and thought back to all the fishing trips with his Dad

"Um...Question." He said raising his hand

"Yes?" Lazarus said with a serpentine hiss making the humans shudder

"If the people here are...Animals..." Cody really hoped they wouldn't be offended "Then what do people...Eat here?"
"Getting something over a secured channel," said a technician.

"Alright, put them on screen," the Princess said.

A cheetah showed up. "Hidden Spot reporting in," they said. "We got a new possible recruit."

"What can you tell us about them?" the Princess asked.

"Let's put it this way, anyone with Powers that touches this person will lose their Powers for five minutes," the cheetah said. "No electricity, fire, super strength, quick speed, invisibility, telekinesis, or any other power, for five minutes. Of course, if the target doesn't have Powers, nothing happens to them, so, something to keep in mind if going up against someone who doesn't rely upon Powers to fight."

"Where is this recruit?" the Princess asked.

"The last place the Council would think that an ALM member would be," the cheetah said.

Tabitha looked at her security badge. "Seriously? A janitor at Council HQ?"

Gigawatt looked at the skunk. "Best way to hide is to be beneath their noses. Unless you mess up, no one will see you, or try to touch you, and given that folks there already have Powers, we're not going to check our HQ to look for someone with no obvious abilities."
Upon hearing of Tabitha and her ability, Lazarus exclaimed "This is perfect! We need to find and recruit this skunk immediately! With her nullifying ability, The Council will be history!"

"But how do we get to Council HQ?" Catalina asked "Their headquarters is the space station orbiting the planet, and only council members or their lackeys have clearance to enter."

"Simple. I open a portal on the station, and send a team of spies to find and extract this Tabitha."

"What if she doesn't want to join us?" The cheetah asked.

"Then we'll have to convince her. Surely, she'd see reason if she can help end the Council's reign once and for all."

Lazarus turned to the humans. "As for you bunch, I must admit I don't really see how you can be of use to us in this fight. But if Catalina trusts you, then you're welcome to stay if you wish."
Meanwhile, at the palace, Catastrophe was plotting his next move.

"If my niece is helping the resistance," he said, brushing his goatee. "Then I need a bounty hunter. FyreFox, call in Biggus Dorkus!"

FyreFox froze for a second.

"From the planet Xleqxisfp?" She gasped. "Where all the inhabitants have names that are so silly that people on other planets laugh at them? That Biggus Dorkus?!?"

A guard who was listening nearby began bursting into laughter.

"Silence!" Catastrophe barked.

But the guard didn't stop laughing.

"Lock him up in the dungeon!"

More guards came and took the laughing guard to the dungeon.

"Now, get me the captain of the guards," Catastrophe ordered.

"That was the captain of the guards you had sent to the dungeon," Uber-Wolf said.

"Then who's second-in-command?" Catastrophe asked.

One of the guards, a large, overweight tan cat, raised his pudgy hand.

"You've just been promoted to captain," Catastrophe said. "Now, do you think the name Biggus Dorkus is funny?"

The new captain didn't answer.

"What about you?" Catastrophe said, turning his attention to a hippo guard. "Do you find it amusing when I say the name Biggus Dorkus?"

Then he turned his attention to two more guards.

"He has a wife, you know," he said. "Do you want to know what she's called? She's called Ivana. Ivana Goda Da Bafroom."

The two guards began laughing uncontrollably.

"Enough!" Catastrophe ordered. "This is has gone too far! Silence! You call yourselves guards?"

While he was trying to tell the guards to stop laughing about Biggus Dorkus's ridiculous name, FyreFox pulled up her wrist communicator and contacted the bounty hunter.
Still looking through the past history, Glacier soon had a thought. Taking a strand of his own hair, he set it onto a scanner and began to analyze it along with the scans he had of the humans.
"If the history won't say anything, may DNA wil... Wait, what?"
As he looked at the two DNA strands, he saw something so alarming, his right eye twitched.
         "You gotta be kidding me..."
"What is it?" Aqua asked still feeling overwhelmed by all that had just happened she thought she would just be joining ALM to help restore her own Aquatic Royal Familay to its former glory now all this involving the weird hairless ape creatures Lumio had seen in his dreams...Was Lumio actually one who had been affected by the meteor too, but so far all he had manifested was dreams of the future?

"My DNA scans reveal that me and this human kid Cody are related!" Glacier said "Specifically we're both desended from Frostine...The Legendary Queen of the Artic Foxes thousands of years ago in early history...When the Animal People lived in primitive tribes...She along with several other legendary leaders vanished without a trace...No one knew what happened to them."

"And nobody yet has answered my question of what does everybody eat!" Cody said folding his arms "Are you all like vegetarians or something?"
"There's plenty of non-sapient animals that carnivores and omnivores that prefer a mostly meat-based diet can eat," said Glacier.
Having gotten his answer, Cody looked over Glacier, his apparent relative. "So...you and me are, what? Very distant cousins?" Glacier shrugged. "Who knows what our exact relation is? But, DNA never lies. For all we know, everybody on your planet is related somehow to us."

Meanwhile, on a Coucnil base stationed on Anthronius' moon, Some scientists were preparing to test their newest weapon, an orbital fusion bomb that would be dropped into the ocean far from any civilization. It was meant to be a last resort, in case of an uprising against the Council by a city or large area.

"Ready...3...2...1...Launch!"

"Firing F-Bomb Now!"

The bomb fell through the atmosphere, into the ocean and detonated, creating an immense cloud. Beneath the waves of the detonation zone, something was awakened. Something very big. Very powerful. And very angry.
As Jason and Xander were working on their invention at ALM HQ, Princess Catalina came up to Chip and held out her hand.

"I'm sure we can learn the truth about the past," Chip told her. "And figure out how Glacier and Cody are related.

KA-BOOM!

"Well, well, well," a familiar voice said.

The humans looked up and saw FyreFox and Uber-Wolf who had blown a hole in the wall.

"I believe we have someone who'd like to meet you," Uber-Wolf said.

"Biggus Dorkus!" FyreFox called. "Do your stuff."
However the bomb that had been dropped into the ocean had awoken something that none of them could have prepared not even this Biggus Dorkus

It was Squidzilla! The Father of all Gigantic Squid Anthros! The size of a twenty-story building!
Gigawatt and Fastjack were looking at monitors. The lizard and rabbit looked at each other.

"Well, someone will earn their pay," said Gigawatt.

"Better evacuate civilians," said Fastjack.
The battle between the Council and the ALM would have to wait, as both sides saw the gigantic squid creature terrorizing the city. "We'll deal with you later." Uber-Wolf growled to the rebels before he and FyreFox went to deal with the monster, leaving Biggus Dorkus to keep watch until they finished. Aqua then got an idea. If the superpowered members of the ALM could defeat Squidzilla before the Council, perhaps they could sway more public support to their side. But they would have to deal with the musclebound bounty hunter guarding them first...
Biggus Dorkus, who happened to be a panda dressed in a leather vest, dogtags, camo pants, army boots, and fingerless gloves, was a lot more fit than a regular panda.

But that didn't stop the humans from laughing at his silly name. He kept trying to get them to stop laughing, but to no avail.

"Keep laughing," Princess Catalina told them. "I've got to help the ALM!"

She snuck out while Biggus Dorkus was distracted by the humans still laughing at his name.
Reaching into his clothes, Glacier pulled out a small globe like item.
         "Hey Biggus, catch!"
Tossing it to Biggus Dorkus, the orb soon exploded, scaring the humans.
But, to there surprise, when they felt no heat, they soon see the panda frozen solid inside a giant block of ice.
         "So, who ordered the Panda-cycle?"
Hearing nothing but a random cricket, his ears drooped.
         "Everyone's a critic."
Walking over to the bookshelf, he pulled a random book out, causing the shelves to part sideways to reveal all kinds of ice weapons.
         "Alright everyone, GEAR IT UP!"
Aqua however was frozen with fear because of Squidzilla! She knew the Squids and the Sharks were ancient enemies so she was terrified for her family!
Gigawatt and Fastjack made it to the scene.

"I'll see about evacuating the citizens," said Fastjack. "You zap that thing when it gets close to the shore."

"Got it," said Gigawatt. "Say, do you think our secret weapon could do the trick?"

"It would only work once as a surprise," said Fastjack. "After that, they'd know."
As Squidzilla continued its rampage, Uber-Wolf and FyreFox prepared to end the beast permanently. "This will be simple." Uber-Wolf said. In an instant, he flew at mach 5 speed straight through Squidzilla's head before punching a hole through the other side, splattering dark blue blood all over the streets below. But to his surprise, this didn't even phase the monster, as it just kept going on with its wanton destruction!

"I don't get it!" Uber -Wolf exclaimed "Why is it still alive?!" That's when it hit him; squids don't have a brain! Therefore, it can't be killed with cranial damage. "Don't worry." FyreFox said "I can handle this overgrown piece of calamari!" She began charging her power, her entire body becoming engulfed in flame.

"Get ready for a fish fry!"

But before she could attack, she was doused with a blast of ink from Squidzilla, extinguishing her fire for the moment. With FyreFox covered in ink, and Uber-Wolf in the squid monster's blood, they both looked at each other and nodded. "We're gonna need backup." Uber-Wolf pushed a button on his communicator, sending a signal out to the other Council members to converge on their location.
Squidzilla continued attacking until musical sounds were made. It stopped and looked at the source.

"That's it!" Lucy exclaimed. "The monster must be a music lover!"

She had Jason and Xander create a radio that picked up signals from Earth.

The humans all headed to the city and stood in the center.

"What are you doing?" Princess Catalina said, looking concerned.

"Trust us, Princess," Chip told her.

Nick turned on the radio and the humans began performing the Chickendance. Apparently, that's what the radio was playing. Squidzilla looked at them with curiosity and began dancing with them. Soon, all the civilians were dancing along as well.
Pulling up in a truck, Glacier began hooking up a few amps facing the squid and powered them up before hooking it up to the radio to amplify the music.
However Aqua noticed something in one of Squidzilla's tentacles...She gasped in horror! It was her father Poseidon!
Tabitha managed to make it to the location. "So, what now?"
Uber-Wolf, still cleaning squid blood off of himself, looked in confusion at the sight of the dancing giant squid monster. "I don't see what they're trying to do." He said "They've stopped it's rampage for now, but what do they think will happen when the music stops?" FyreFox, still trying desperately to get ink out of her fur, nodded. "All they're really doing is making fools of themselves."

Back with the ALM and the humans, Aqua tried desperately to think of a way to save her father. "We have to do something!" She said "If anything happens to him, we risk war between my people and land dwellers!"
Uber-Wolf went to release Biggus Dorkus from his icy prison. Then they went to the radio to turn it off, but Squidzilla slapped down the tentacle holding Poseidon, blocking their path. It let go of the shark and continued dancing.

"Ice them!" Poseidon barked.

Two sharks thugs appeared behind the wolf and panda and took them away.

When the dance was over, Xander and Jason showed Squidzilla how the radio worked.

"You can keep it," Jason said. "Consider it a gift."

Squidzilla turned and left with the radio in tow.

"It looks like we made a new friend," said Madison.

Meanwhile, back at the royal palace, Catastrophe was furious that Biggus Dorkus had failed.

"We tried it your way," FyreFox said. "Now we do it my way. Like my mother always said, never send a panda to do a fox's job."

As if right on cue, five biker foxes on motorbikes rode into the throneroom. Their names were Gunter, Glieben, Glauchen, Globen, and Jerri (yeah, scary names, I know).

"Sorry we're late," Jerri said. "Gunter stopped for another sandwich."

She pointed at the large gluttonous biker fox eating a big sandwich the length of a school bus.

"Needs more mustard," he said.

"The fat one needs to find them," Catastrophe said.

"Hey!" Gunter shouted in offense. "You can't call me fat! Are you making fun of my size?"
Unknown to anyone, a small spider drone was recording the events of Fyrefox calling in a group of fox bikers, which is seen by everyone of the ALM.
Yet, Glacier, to everyone's surprise, was sweating from seeing Kerri in the group.
         "Oh boy."
Seeing this, Catalina placed a hand on his shoulder, spooking him a bit.
         "You know them?"
Gulping, Glacier decided to come clean.
"The group, no. Jerri, yes. Her and I used to... well... um... date..."
"Before or after you got your powers?"
"After." Glacier said somewhat embarrassed. "Let's just say things didn't really work out, due to my abilities making it rather difficult for us to be intimate, if you get what I mean."Catalina nodded. "I think I get it."
"Wait a minute!" Vida said. "Look at the back of his jacket!"

She pointed at Glieben, the tall and skinny fox, whose back was turned. Sure enough, the back of his jacket had a big F and two lines next to it.

"Better zoom in," Glacier said, adjusting the drone's lens.

Upon closer inspection, the jacket read Furious Foxes.

"The Furious Foxes?!?" Princess Catalina gasped. "They're the most dangerous bikers on Anthronius! My parents had them sent to the dungeon when I was just a kitten, but they escaped. They must have a grudge against the royal family!"

The group saw Globen, the goth of the Furious Foxes, turn around on the screen. He started walking toward the drone, but turned to his left.

"Hey, guys," he said in a miserable tone. "I believe we have a score to settle with the princess."

Glauchen, the muscular leader of the Furious Foxes, smiled.

"Then we'd better ride," he said.

"Let's rock and roll all over the princess!" Glieben said before doing an air guitar.

"Excellent, Glieben," said Glauchen. "That's what I like about: always ready for a fight, even before knowing what you're up against."
What no one but Aqua noticed is that Squidzilla released his grip on her father Poseidon that's when she noticed the gash in his side, he looked dead!

That was when Aqua fainted
Fastjack looked at the injured king. "Well, that doesn't look good. Better see what I got in my medical kit."
Giving the king a once over, Fastjack pronounced "It's much less serious than it looks. He'll be fine, after he's fully healed."
"Daddy," Aqua said. "I'm sorry you got hurt back there."

"No worries, sweetie," Poseidon said. "I'm sure the AML can take you in."

"Just take it easy, your highness," Chip said. "Lucy and I will do some cooking for you."

"You're in good hands, rest assured," Jenny said.

Outside of HQ, the Furious Foxes had rode up on their motorbikes. Gunter had eaten most of his sandwich until it was about as long as a flat-screen TV.

"Do they have no shame?" Globen asked gloomily. "They look lame."

"Not necessarily," Jerri said as she loaded a dart with a strange symbol on it into a pistol. "They're about to get a taste of puffnesium."

"I want to skin them alive!" Glieben exclaimed.

"Maybe we can make omelets out of him," Gunter added. "Hmmmmmm, omelets. I think my belly could use a snack right now."

"Patience," Glauchen said. "We'll need to call them out of their own headquarters."
Walking out of AML headquaters, Glacier input a password into a security system.
Hitting 'ENTER', he watched as freeze turrents, freeze mines, electric fences positioned themselves out of the ground, and security hover drones armed with freeze lasers began to patrol the area.
"Yup, that should do it. But I best get "the secret weapon" ready just in case."
Walking back in, the door close and became shielded by high density metal doors.
Fastjack looked over at the foxes, and groaned. "Don't know why the Council got them. Always causing a mess."
Seeing the ALM headquarters suddenly arm itself with a ludicrous amount of defenses, the Furious Foxes groaned. "Well, now what?" Glieben said to the leader.
"I'm sure I can lower their defenses," said Jerri.

"I say we've got the right girl for the job," said Glauchen.

Jerri walked up to ALM HQ and waved a white flag in front of a security camera.

"Do you suppose she doesn't want any trouble?" Tabitha asked.

Glacier lowered HQ's defenses and walked to the door.

"Long time, no see, Glacier," Jerri said.

"Are you here to make up with me?" Glacier asked.

"Funny you should ask," Jerri said.

She took off her jacket and turned around, showing a tattoo of a literally broken heart on her back. In it read the words, "Jerri and Glacier 4-Never".

"I got that after our breakup," she explained. "And now, I want do want to make up with you."

"Really?" Glacier asked.

Jerriheld up her gun and said, "No."

She pulled the trigger and the dart came out. However, Fastjack had pushed Glacier out of the way and the dart was injected into his shoulder.

"Fastjack, are you all right?" Melody said, helping him to his feet.

"Yeah," Fastjack said. "But my belt's a little tight."

"Oh, dear," said Darcy. "You look a little bloated. You'd better undo that belt."

That's just what he did, but he continued to swell up.

"What did you do to him?!?" Madison demanded.

"He just got a taste of puffnesium injected into him," Glauchen said.

"Puffnesium? What's that?" Cody asked.

"It's a dangerous compound that causes the injected person to blow up like a balloon," Princess Catalina explained. "This is why my parents put the Furious Foxes in the dungeon. They used it on my father!"
Pulling out a syringe, Glacier injected the contents inside into Fastjack. As the substance started to take effect, Glacier positioned him to face his ex as without warning, Fastjast burped with such force, not only did he return to normal, but he sent Jerri into a wall across the street.
         "Um, hehe... Excuse me."
"What did you have?" Glacier asked.

"Oh, the Chili-Cheese-Bean Burrito," said Fastjack.
The Furious Foxes helped Jerri peel herself off the wall she had been blown into. "Well, looks like it's time for plan B." Said Glauchen. "What's plan B?" Jerri asked, still reeling from Fastjack's belch blast.
"We'll need to lure them into a trap," said Glauchen. "And I know just the glutton for the job."

He eyed the obese Gunter heading for a hot dog stand whose attendant ran in fear. Glauchen stepped in front of Gunter, blocking his path.

"What would you say you lure the ALM into a trap with for Plan B to work?" Glauchen asked Gunter. "I'll give you a chili dog as a reward."

He held out his hand, showing Gunter a chili dog the length of a train engine.

"And to seal the deal," Glauchen added. "I've topped it with eggs and peanut butter, your favorite."

Gunter eyed the chili dog hungrily and licked his lips.

"Good for the gang, good for the belly!" He shouted, patting his large gut with his hands.
It was then the sound of not only the security system coming back online, but also the tageting system of each freeze gun aiming at each member before a speaker sounded off with the king speaking.
' You do realize we can see and hear ya from the security camera's and speakers, right? So, unless you all want to be in ice, drops your weapons, and surrender.'
"Even I know better than to blab out a plan," said Fastjack, as he heard the warning.
With no other option, the Furious Foxes surrendered. The next thing they knew, they were in a holding cell, guarded by Glacier and Aqua, as the rest of the group figured out their next move. Turning on a nearby television, Catalina saw on the news that since the defeat of squidzilla, the general public has been swaying more towards supporting the efforts of the ALM and their cause. "Well, that's some good news, at least."
At the cells, Glauchen schemed an escape with his followers and finally, he turned to talk to Glacier.

"Say, guard," he said. "I believe we received a message from the princess's parents. Bring her here so we can tell her."

"How do we know you won't escape if we leave the cells unattended?" Aqua snapped.

"You'll have to stay and keep an eye on us, young lady," Glauchen said.

"Can you bring us something to eat?" Gunter asked.

"Gunter's always thinking with his stomach," Globen, ever the emo, whined.

Aqua firmly stood her ground as Glacier went to fetch Catalina. Moments later, they came back and Glauchen read the "message" from her parents.

"You see, guard," he told Glacier. "The princess must come with us if she were to see her parents again."

Glacier shrugged.

"Fine," he said. "Take her to her parents."

With that, he opened the cell and led the princess and the Furious Foxes to a transport train and bid her farewell.

"Thank you," she said. "I'll tell my parents you've treated me well."

After the train had taken off, the Furious Foxes then turned to Catalina and smiled wickedly.

"Now that we've tricked our way out of that cell," Glauchen said, handing Gunter the chili dog he showed him earlier. "It's time for us to set our trap with you, Princess, as the bait!"
         "Yeah, not happening."
With a simple toss, a sphere landed in the center of the hand before exploding and invading them in a block of ice, but kept Jerri's head free as a cyber blade was placed just under her neck.
         "Now then..."
With a simple click on her watch, the clothes the princess was wearing turned into a set of cybernetic armor.
         "...lets make a new deal."
Fastjack chuckled as he watched from a distance. "Only a fool would fall for that trap."
"How about this? I unfreeze you, and you and your little biker gang turn yourselves in to the ALM without a fight, and in exchange I don't end the lot of you right here and now?" Catalina said, pressing the blade further against Jerri's neck. Jerri knew appearances could be deceiving, but this was ridiculous! When did this sweet princess become so ruthless all of a sudden? Must be all those violent video games, Jerri thought. "Also, you agree to all be fitted with shock collars. If you try to escape or cause a problem, you get zapped." Catalina added. Seeing it was either that or possibly be decapitated, Jerri agreed.
As Catalina unfroze the Furious Foxes, she redirected the train back to ALM HQ.

"We're all getting fitted for shock collars," Globen moaned. "I hope I get mine in black."

"Not to worry," said Glauchen. "We're going back on our word when the timing is right."

"Good thing I brought a spare puffnesium dart," Jerri said.

"Can I eat the princess afterward?" Gunter asked.

Glieben smacked in on the back of his head and shot him an icy stare.

When the train reached HQ, the princess ushered the Furious Foxes to the entrance where Glacier and Fastjack were waiting.

"The Furious Foxes have agreed to turn themselves in," she told them.

Then she turned to the bikers and bowed.

"You are ready to be brought back to your cell," she told them.

Jerri held up her gun and pointed it at her.

"I've got a better idea," she said.

She pulled the trigger and the dart flew out.

"Here we go again," Fastjack said, getting ready to protect the princess.

He dashed out in front of her and took the dart like he did before.

"You promised!" The princess accused.

"Didn't your mother and father ever tell you to never make a deal with a fox?" Glauchen asked.

With that, he grabbed the princess, threw her into the sidecar of Gunter's motorbike when he'd keep his food, and the Furious Foxes drove off with Catalina in tow. She watched as Fastjack began to helplessly swell up all over his body.
Walking up to Fastjack, Glacier injected him with another round of the antidote, causing him to belch himself back to normal.
"So, you did cyphon the fuel from there bikes, right Fastjack?"
Groaning a bit from being inflated a second time, Fastback began to get a bit aggrivated.
"Hm? Oh yeah, I left them with a bit of gas. Shall I go catch them before Catalina has a few new fox coats to use?"
Hearing a few screams for mercy from the direction the gang went, no doubt Catalina showing the gang that she's no push over in a fight, Glacier chuckled a bit.
"Hm, let's give her two minutes tops, maybe take the collars and a first aid kit with ya?"
It was then a loud scream was heard, no doubt Glauchen being hit someplace very sensitive.
"Got any candy?" Fastjack asked. "A big thing of soda would do."
After everything was said and done, the Furious Foxes found themselves back in their cells, this time with shock collars fitted on each of their necks. Some of them had broken bones as well from the whooping Catalina had given them. "Maybe now you'll stay put." Glacier said as he closed the door to the cell block.

"Who would have thought that princess would put up such a fight?" Gunter groaned, his arm in a sling and a bandage around his head. Glauchen just sat on a nearby cot and pouted. Looks like there was no getting out of this one.

Back with the Council members, Uber-Wolf had received word of the Furious Foxes failure. He was beginning to lose his patience at this point. "Whatever happened to that brainiac kid we tried to recruit?" He asked "What was his name? Brainchild?"

"I gave him our offer, and he never responded." FyreFox said "He just vanished off the face of Anthronius."

"Well, we still have the finder device, don't we? He has to be somewhere. Locate him and bring him here. If he's so smart, maybe he can think of a plan to help us eliminate the ALM once and for all."

"We're relying on a kid to help us, now?"

"Not just any kid. A super genius kid."

Shrugging, FyreFox activated the station's computer mainframe, and began scanning the planet for Brainchild's location.
"If we're going to find Brainchild," Uber-Wolf said. "I know just the wolves to track him down: the Wolfgang Brothers!"

"The Wolfgang Brothers?!?" FyreFox gasped. "But they're wanted criminals!"

"Maybe a little community service will straighten them out," Uber-Wolf said.

After tracking their whereabouts to a shady tavern, the two came across the Wolfgang Brothers. One of them was thin, had a pencil mustache, and wore only pants and an open vest. The other Wolfgang Brother was fat, had a goatee, and wore a poorly-fitting tank top underneath suspenders that held up his pants.

"I believe we have a way to make you two no longer wanted criminals," FyreFox told them, holding up a picture of Brainchild.

"I'm sure Wilbur and I can find him in a jiffy," the thin Wolfgang Brother said.

"I don't know, Wallace," Wilbur said. "The kid can vanish within the blink of an eye."

Meanwhile, word got to ALM HQ that Brainchild was being targeted by the Council.

"We'd better find Brainchild before the Council does!" Fastjack snapped.

"If there was an antidote for puffnesium," Cody said. "Why not use it on your father, Princess?"

"That was the last batch I used on Fastjack," Glacier said.

"Then we'll make another batch," Lucy said.

"The only one who knows the ingredients for the antidote is a monk from a mountain village named Filchner," said Tabitha. "Rumor has it that after his village was destroyed in a war, he spent 59 years in a temple overlooking the ruins of his village, meditating without the slightest taste of food or drink."

"If he's been meditating for that long," Nick said. "Then he must've wasted away to nothing."

"Then some of us will have to find him," said Vida. "While the others stay here to look for Brainchild."

"Vida and I will go," Lucy said. "After all, my family owns a restaurant on Earth."

"I'm coming, too!" Nick exclaimed. "I'm the leader!"

"I'll go, too," said Aqua. "In my childhood, I've learned the art of mystics from a guru."

""I'll come as well," Catalina said.

"If you're going, Princess," Glacier said. "I'm accompanying you. I promised your parents I'd look after you until they were free."

"Then it's settled!" Fastjack said. "You guys find Monk Filchner for the antidote ingredients and we'll stay here!"
Fastjack then went to a place that was quiet. He needed a nap.
