Despite the story title, there will be options to play non-Outworlders. Racial gifts should be detailed at the start of any thread should they be different from the Outworlder ones. For those unaware, Outworlders are people pulled from another universe by a magical accident or magical imbalance. Their racial gifts are replaced by the ones below: Interface: Gain a video-game like interface that allows you to identify items, track cooldowns on abilities etc. Quest System: Gain quests based on things in the world and area Map: Mini Map Astral Affinity: Resistance to dimension effects and astsral forces. Dimensional and astral abilities used by you have increased effect Mysterious Stranger: Language Adaptation, Essence and Skill Book Absorption. Loot monsters Essences Will update this area with known combinations. You're able to absob three essences. Once you've absorbed three, a fourth will manifest, known as a confluence essence, which is usually based on the three other essences absorbed. For example: Fire, Earth and Potent essences would produce the Volcano essence. Each essence automatically awakens one essence ability and grants four unawakened essence abilities. Other essence abilities must be awakened by using Awakening Stones. Once four essences have been absorbed, you reach Iron Rank Essence Combinations Fire, Earth and Potent->Volcano Blood, Sin, Dark->Doom Awakening Stones Awakening Stones are used to awaken unawakened essence abilities. The ability awakened usually depends on the awakening stone used. For example, an Awakening Stone of Rain might awaken an ability to allow you to walk or run on water, or it might give you the ability to temporarily turn into a liquid form. You can't have more than one aura power, unless a racial gift allows you to have more. The same for perception powers. |
