Martell 2024

I combined all of the badges that I could find and posted them all at "Writings for Martell" .

Martell played whenever "Game of Thrones"  had the competition throughout the past ten years.

We played victoriously every time we played except for this year, 2024.

In a series of unfortunate events, we ended up having the major handicap of playing with half a team.
Three of our members who took a spot and committed to play, couldn't. At some point, each tried to make an attempt, but it didn't work out. Two were in the hospital, and the third had covid.

It was bad luck, bad timing, and stuff happens. It could happen to any of us, so no hard feelings at all.

The three of us who were able to compete played our hearts out every day of the competition, in an attempt to make up for the nonexistent points.

We actually did pretty well considering. Other teams placed under us. Maybe they also had people who couldn't play.

Long story short - I am proud of my accomplishments in the competition.
I did 106 long reviews for team points, and I ended up hailing the number one reviewer on the WDC public page for weeks in doing so!
I completed all of the 'doors' at the GoT Black and White forum.
I aggressively tackled many of the Citadel quests, and other quests to bring team points.

I would have liked to write more in the competition, but I tried to be where the best points were at any given moment.

Anyway, I had fun chatting and playing the game with the other two members on Martell who were competing throughout. I was proud of them, and also I was proud of our "WdC SuperPower Reviewers Group"  members who wanted to play but found open spots on other teams. All in fun...
