This is something I posted on my account (@TheRealAgent_99) over on Planet X. https://twitter.com/TheRealAgent_99/status/1761471104672296997?t=HgtffhcirN6ltUV... It was a reply to a post from (@ZubyMusic) https://twitter.com/ZubyMusic/status/1761199085393002730?t=PpYXmwO9cu8TQbKpXWEDY... You can learn so much from X. Better than university for many things. Including networking. My reply: I'm not so sure any social media sites are actually good at networking and connecting humans with humans. There's so many bots, trolls, marketing/advertising, popular clickbait accounts, and porn/cam girl accounts that tend to clutter/bury the real intelligence and most of the interesting/entertaining educational content. I think forum/message boards were/are tend to be more interactive and interesting. I used to actually have interesting/intelligent/entertaining/interactive conversations online with other humans, but that seems to be next to impossible to achieve on any social media app/site currently available. At least, that's the conclusion I have come to after spending a little over 3 years using and experimenting with social media. I never had Facebook/Instagram/etc prior to 2020. I actually only signed up for Twitter in 2015 to follow the updates at AniRevo Vancouver, BC. I barely used it again until the COVID times descended upon the world and locked us all away. I do know that you can learn a lot from the internet as well, providing you know which sites have good educational info. (Most universities have cool shit you can access for free and sites like Khan Academy are awesome!❤️) However, the most popular pages on the internet, and the most popular social media accounts/posts, tend to focus on gossipy trendy hashtag garbage, entertainment news, and arguing/pointing the finger about whose ancestors are "better" and who "did it first" and who's race/religion/skin color is the "best" or the most superior like we're stuck in an endless childish schoolyard debate on who's daddy has the best job and drives the coolest car. <musical interlude> 🎵So you've been to school for a year or two and you know you've seen it all In daddy's car thinkin' you'll go far, Back East your type don't crawl Play ethnicky jazz to parade your snazz on your 5 grand stereo Bragging that you know how the n*****s feel the cold And the slums got so much soul🎶 OMG! Alert the censors! Danger danger! Red alert! <Slam the lid shut on this social media account. She doesn't deserve a place or a voice online, or in the real world, for that matter!> Did I put the stars in the correct places, oh great and powerful PC people of the internet? *Please note, this is the very first time I have ever typed, written, or alluding to the "n" word in my entire life, online or otherwise. If anyone is offended, oh well. If it makes you feel better, please feel free to: 🎵Say what you're gonna say So go ahead and label me🎵 Or call me something "mean" My inferior female brain shall even provide you with a handy dandy template (totally free of charges!) containing some ideas for all of you eediots to draw from/work with as you formulate a most vile and insulting response. [Special thank-you to Ice Cube(❤️) and Sublime(❤️❤️❤️) for the 1st sentence] As follows: "She's just a skinny, flat-assed, stringy-haired stupid fucking white women (🎵light skin, light blue eyes, a double-chin and a plastic smile🎶) who couldn't fight her way out of a paper bag, nor string her thoughts together to form a complete sentence. I mean, obviously, like, all white women around the world she like, totally, like, lacks the essential element of the REAL Gods and Goddesses..." What component of matter and/or atomic structure might that be, you ask? Is it ether? Quantum energy? Nah, she just don't have no melanin. She just a dumb broad. Ya know, just one of "those people". One of them pasty pale-skinned, "fragile", overly sensitive white folk. God, they're just so totally inferior compared to non-white folk.🙄 Anyhow <I digress> Nothing wrong with entertaining stuff for a bit, but after awhile, my brain craves more stimulation and interaction. Idk, dude... Maybe there's just not that many people in the world who actually enjoy learning and studying and creating new things based upon deeper discussions and conversations surrounding humanity and the state of our inner/outer universe. \o/ |
