Seeing storms as a child, then as an adult.
I remember the rainbows when I was young
I remember the storms, yes they were fun

Watching from my window to see the lightning strike
Listening to the thunder sounding like a motor-bike

Isn't it strange how we all grow older
And now I know what storms are, there is so much to ponder

I think of being a child again and it makes me feel so old
I never knew my life would change to help bring in the cold

The storms today are a little scary as lightning flashes by
I still think of magic days where I never asked God why?

I think of how the storms really work, it is an act of God
That electricity can come from the sky but this we all forgot

So when a storm of lightning and thunder comes your humble way
Stop to see the magic show, how beautiful I must say.
