The Dragon Tamers, those legendary guardians of winged fire, deserved to witness this miracle too. Could these eggs be the spark that rekindled their ancient bond with these magnificent creatures?
So, adventurer, if you stumble upon this message, know this: finding this place isn't mere luck. It's destiny whispering, inviting you to be part of something extraordinary. A chance to rewrite history, to mend a broken lineage, and to witness the flames of legend take flight once more. Are you ready to answer the call, Dragon Tamer? [As your Vale head, I especially tailored the following rules and regulations, which Dragon Tamers are expected to abide to maintain order in this place and make your visit most memorable.]

 1. Become a Dragon Tamer Open Scroll ▼The idea of this activity is to adopt a dragon. You will be called DRAGON TAMER and your dragon will be your pet, your comrade, your friend, and/or your writing buddy. No dragon (if ever existed) is hurt or captured during this process. While this is merely a work of fiction, I encourage you to let your imagination soar with so much creativity while having fun.
2. Buy Eggs for yourself or for your friends. Open Scroll ▼Dragons are not free. You have to buy an egg or two or more to obtain your new pet. However, your fellow tamers may gift you one. Take a gander at our Dragon Egg Shop to view the perfect pet for you with its corresponding prices. If you already have one in mind, head on to " Dragon Adoption Chamber" and fill out the adoption scroll. You have the option to pay additional Gift Points to increase your dragon's attributes when hatched. Check The Dragon Attributes section to view the prices. Payment shall be made after completing the Adoption Scroll. Payment shall be done through forum post below or send it directly to [#2309764] " Dragon Haven" Once adoption is successful and payment is validated, a customized design will be created for your dragon (which will update every now and then with your dragon's progress). Your customized sig will be displayed on the activity page. Let me know if you wish to get a copy of the sig for your own use. On top of this, you will receive the Vale's rare Trinket as your initial reward.
6. Adopt, Train, and Merge dragons. Open Scroll ▼Tamers may adopt one or more Dragons. However, you are only limited to train one from each Rarity. This doesn't mean that you can't purchase two or more Eggs from the same element and the same rarity, you may, but it will be merged. Every time you merge a dragon, your retained dragon's max attribute limit will increase by 50 increment and will also gain XP; 100 XP (for Common), 250 XP (for Rare), 500 XP (for Epic), and 1,000 XP (for Legendary). Tamers have to choose which Element they would keep after merging dragons from the same rarity. If you have a dragon from each element, they will all benefit from the XP (Experience Point) earned. For instance, you have 1 Nature Dragon, 1 Light Dragon and 1 Fairy Dragon. When you earned 100 XP from completing a task, all three get 100 XP each.
7. Accomplish tasks. Open Scroll ▼Your journey of being a Dragon Tamer starts from having a Dragon Egg. You need to do tasks in order to hatch, and then grow your dragon. Each task you complete gives you corresponding XP (Experience Points). Visit Ways to Obtain XP section for a complete list of available tasks. Every time your dragon reaches a certain growth level, you will get rewards. The higher the growth level, the bigger the rewards. Visit The Dragon Growth Level section for details. If your dragon reaches level 3 (Juvenile Stage), new privilege will open. Your dragon will become eligible to participate in the " Dragon Vale Arena - Opening Soon..." , where dragon tamers vie for huge rewards and XP boosts. In addition, you will have the option to convert your XP to Gift Points. Visit The Dragon Arena and/or XP to Gift Points Conversion for more details.

 How to become a Dragon Tamer?
Answer: Simply purchase a Dragon Egg or two.
Can I gift Dragon Eggs to someone?
Answer: YES.
How many Dragon Eggs can I purchase and own?
Answer: You may purchase as many Dragon Eggs as you want. However, you can only own a maximum of four (4). That is, 1 from Common, 1 from Rare, 1 from Epic, and 1 from Legendary.
What are the benefits of having multiple dragons?
Answer: You will get the rewards associated with that particular Dragon. Because each Rarity has different rewards, you will get the chance of getting those.
What is Rarity?
Answer: Rarity determines the Dragon’s rareness. The higher the Rarity, the higher the rewards you’ll get. But it will cost more Gift Points. The current Dragon Rarities are: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary.
What is Element?
Answer: Element determines the Dragon’s nature/type and are categorized as the following:
COMMON:
Nature, Air, Water, and Fire
RARE:
Light and Dark
EPIC:
Rainbow (Multi-colored)
LEGENDARY:
Iridescent and Fairy
How many dragons can I own per Rarity?
Answer: ONLY ONE. If you happen to have two or more Dragons from the same Rarity, they will be merged and you have to decide which Element to keep.
What will I get after merging Dragons?
Answer: Every time you merge a dragon, your retained Dragon's max attribute limit will increase by 50 increment and will also gain 100 XP (for Common), 250 XP (for Rare), 500 XP (for Epic), and 1,000 XP (for Legendary).
What is Attribution and how does it works in this activity?
Answer: Attribution or Dragon Attributes are your Dragon’s Attack points, Defense Points, Health points, and Speed points. These are needed in the Battle Arena.
Does a Dragon come with attributes after purchasing?
Answer: YES. It comes with default attribute points (10 points on all attributes). However, you may opt to increase your Dragon’s potential by paying extra.
Say, I already had selected the default attributes (or below the max attribute points) and I decided to raise it after then, how will I do that?
Answer: Feel free to add a forum post stating your request to raise attributes. Dragons with maximum attributes can no longer be raised (max points can be raised only after Dragon merging). Every increment raised will cost you 5K Gift points. For instance, if your current attribute for Stamina is at 25 and you wish to raise it to 75 points, this will cost you 10K Gift Points. To see your Dragon's current attribution points, visit "Dragon Vale Hatchery and Dragon Den" .
What does XP stands for?
Answer: Experience Points. XP is used as basis to advance your Dragon to the next level.
What will happen to fully-grown dragons that already garnered the highest possible rewards?
Answer: Your pet may continue to get XP infinitely. They won't die (I don't like that to happen here). And every time a certain XP (every 5000 XP added) is reached beyond the full-growth requirement gets you a Merit Badge of your own choosing.
If I have more than one dragons, how does XP allocation works?
Answer: All dragons you own will benefit from the XP you earned. For instance, you have 1 Nature Dragon, 1 Light Dragon and 1 Fairy Dragon. When you earned 100 XP from completing a task, all three get 100 XP each. However, allocation of XP will be done proactively. This means that a newly tamed dragon will get XP from your task completions starting from the day it was bought.
How long does the event run for?
Answer: I want this activity to be active over time. It's neither a monthly nor a yearly activity that has a specified end date. This is not a contest and participants have the liberty to complete the tasks at their preferred pace. The faster you complete your tasks, the faster you'll get rewarded.
When will this activity starts?
Answer: On the very first day of February 2024.

Do we have to fight our dragons? I don't like making animals fight, even in fiction, so could that part realistically be skipped if you want to fully grow your dragon? Or does fighting your dragon simply mean that you, the writer, has to compete with another writer in a writing/ W.Com task?
Answer: I am still working on the Dragon Arena. It will be a friendly battle (they won't die, only faint  ). It could be done through a Virtual dice roll. And yes, writing battle would be a great addition in the arena too. Keep posted for the opening of Dragon arena.

[Once your pet reaches Level 3 (Juvenile Stage), your XP will become eligible for conversion. Converted XP will accumulate and therefore won't reset. Say if you have 10,000 XP already, then your Gift Points earned from conversion is 2,000 Gift Points. The more dragons you have and the higher your XP, the more Gift Points you'll earn.]

XP FROM EXPLORATION:
If you wish to earn more XP other than earning from doing tasks aforementioned, you may embark on a special Adventure. Massive Friendly Derg will aid you in your explorations. Riddles, puzzles and mazes were especially set for you to decipher in exchange for codes.
Once you have at least one dragon you may explore the different realms by using the following link. You may find clues to treasure (coupons or XP)! A word to the wise. While exploring may be easy (you click the link for the place of your choice & use your browsers back button to go back) the clues are deviously hidden & will require both memory of the environment & skill of mind to interpret. A word of warning, each code can only be redeemed once per Dragon Tamer. Please do not share codes or clues!
Read Dragondawn's Adventure to the Enchanted Floating Island ▼
Beyond the well-worn maps of the six Magical Realms, whispered amongst grizzled sailors and stargazing bards, lay the legend of the Enchanted Floating Island. A land teeming with unknown beasts, it called to Massive Friendly Derg like a siren's song. He set sail, a restless explorer armed with courage and a map drawn on star-dust.
The island emerged from the mists, a jewel suspended in the sky. Golems of living moss patrolled emerald valleys, Ogres bellowed from obsidian caves. Leprechauns, nimble as fireflies, tinkered with unseen marvels. Gnomes, bearded and boisterous, dwelt in glittering crystal caverns. Griffins soared on currents of stardust, their wings casting fleeting rainbow shadows. Centaurs galloped across meadows of bioluminescent flowers. Even the mythic Phoenix, a flicker of molten gold against the twilight, graced the land with its fiery presence.
But peril lurked amidst the wonder. Ogres snarled, shadows in the emerald twilight. Massive Friendly Derg's blade, once mere steel, hummed with enchanted light, parrying blows and whispering of forgotten lore. Then, from the smoke and fury, emerged a creature of legend – a dragon, its scales reflecting the dying sun. A roar, a flash of gold, and the Ogre lay silent. A bond forged in battle, a pact whispered in dragonfire, and Massive Friendly Derg's quest took a turn as unexpected as the island itself.
