GOD is Weeping

From above HE sees completely
destructive suffering,
value of life is held cheaply,
the hate that’s smothering.
GOD is weeping for HIS people.
False prophets enticing sheeple.
GOD is weeping.
GOD is weeping.
The over-layering of evil.

Observing even in the dark,
nothing can be hidden,
wickedness is making its mark,
no sins are forbidden.
Faithful HE waits for signs of peace,
destructive choices to decrease.
Faithful HE waits.
Faithful HE waits.
Our forgiveness to be released

HE starts to see flecks of belief,
people reaching others,
pushing hope through each other’s grief,
discovering brothers.
GOD is smiling, loving each one
strengthening through prayer has begun
GOD is smiling

we are stronger if we are one
