Who is this woman who visits me in dreams?
Who Is She?

That sound, soft and gentle, remains in my brain,
With each ring I heard, it lessened my pain.
There it is. It’s such beautiful bliss,
One might think I’d go crazy from this.

Sometimes I hear a voice speaking in soft tones,
During these soothing times, I’d feel it in my bones.
Often, I imagine a face, hovering close by,
It wasn’t real, probably clouds in the sky.

In the morning I woke, my mind now clear,
I looked around my empty room, no one near.
I couldn’t fathom anyone being here,
After all, I’m alone, I have no fear.

There was a woman with me, she’s long gone,
It was another sun to which she was drawn.
‘Tis okay though, I wish her happiness in life,
We never married, t’was just too much strife.

I'm sure the woman in my dreams wasn’t her,
My memories of dreams are such a blur.
Being alone isn’t as bad as you might think,
I never get lonely, my spirit doesn't sink..

Yet still, I wonder how she came to appear
Where did she come from, how did she get here?
There are those dreams of her, who can this be?
Where is she? Most importantly, who is she?
