The awakening aroma
fills
our sleepy morning home,
promising
to wake us from slumber,
with a wonderful, magical, miraculous, mystical coffee bean caffeine.
A taste
of the mystical gods' sweet elixir
to open our eyes wide,
brighten and energize;
to arouse the nighttime dreamer.
Lighting a spark, cranking up our brain cells,
turning a once sluggard into a spit-fire entrepreneur.
Leaving marks in the trail of success.
Cup after cup to keep us awake and sharp
until sleepy time.
