Mankind searches for meaning. He looks for God. He has found over 4000. Which one is real?

Ki – The Concept of God

Ki – Religion and God
*********************

Religion is tragically delicious

There can be no god that will judge you on the substance of your words,
or even your thoughts, as disturbing as they may be

It will not be your beliefs

No, if there is to be a judgment, it will be based on the fundamental essence
of your actions, and this is as it should be.
It will be based on the character and the integrity that you have discovered,
created, and developed. It will always come down to a rational choice,
and that choice can only be made by you alone.

At some point, we all have to decide exactly what it is that we wish to do,
and then we need to do it.
These are not the actions of some god, and certainly not the actions of your religion.
It ultimately comes down to you and what you allow to happen.

God and religion have always been about the search for truth.
It should not allow for the need of the individual to negate responsibility.
It will always be specifically about you. What you do and why you do it

There can never be a good reason to do a bad thing.
You need to think, deeply and rationally. You need to decide on good actions.
There will never be a god that can do that for you nor would they want to.

A legitimate existence derives from a philosophy and morality
that holds value and substance.
Any religion that cannot promise and deliver such a result
can never be interpreted as credible.

philosophy ‘is’

Philosophy without religion . . . IS
Religion without philosophy . . . IS NOT

need

I need no religion
for I fear no gods,
real or imagined

~ ki ~

treasure

there is no god that can exist
to make you something you are not
do not entreat for pleasures and baubles
for in the end they bring you little

the treasures you seek are found within
priceless beyond your wildest dreams
integrity, compassion, honor, empathy
the path to peace, the essence of life

~ ki ~

no

there is no god
he told me so

~ ki ~

*************************

not

it matters not if god exists
if you do not become as one
with self, and man, and earth, and life
not only breathe, but see and feel and think
and know that you have done your best
to be the person you wish to be

~ ki ~

*************************

needed

man needed ..... GOD
..... so he created one of many
in his own image and likeness

~ ki ~

*************************

create

we have created many gods
they all exist and yet none are real
except the ones that speak honest words
and show you the way to truth and understanding
they are the true gods
the ones that bring peace to chaos
and resolution to conflict
embrace no other

~ ki ~

indeed

If there is indeed a god
search for him in the depths of self, of nature, of life
it is there that you may find what you seek

~ ki ~

*************************

real

the question is not if god is real
but rather if you are

~ ki ~

*************************

religion

if your religion requires that you hate
then you may need a new religion
