Fairyland for a brief moment
The winter storm has quickly passed by,
dropping its glistening snow behind.
Now radiant diamonds shine so bright,
a vision to wandering eyes.

How magical that some fairy dust,
has slipped into the dark of night.
leaving for moments a brief surprise,
upon the area's barren crust.

Alas, this gift will soon disappear,
when sunshine brings its warmth to earth.
Now the magic melts to come again,
another time - another year.

Our seasons arrive, and seasons go.
Nature gives homage to each one.
The greenness of spring, and reds of fall,
pure whiteness from the winter snow.

Beauty is lurking in every nook,
be it the land, or sky, or hills.
All painted by rain, wind and sunshine,
it's nature's awesome fairy book.
