“Party of three, party of three. Your table is ready!”

Three friends scurried over to the hostess. She surveyed them, top to bottom. “I’m sorry. We don’t allow Sand Devils in here.”

“There’s no sign to that effect.” Marco stated.

“But clearly your kind knows you’re not allowed.”

Chico pushed Marco aside. “And what does that mean, ‘your kind’?”

The hostess blushed. “Well, you know, the kind ‘you are’.”

Harpo strutted forward. “Oh, so you think you’re better than we are?”

“Um, no, but I’m not on the menu tonight. We don’t allow sand crabs in here. You use the back door, the delivery door.”
