The turtle has left her shell, like Elvis has left the building

If you never showed up to feed the turtle or make sure it had on blessings don't cry now
The turtle has left the shell so don't cry for it not one bit
Cry for those that are left behind in this cold cruel world
Pray for the turtles' baby turtles and children because of the world they have to be in

Pray they will repent of their sin and let Jesus in
Pray they will look up and do good for the one they say they represent
However, don't cry for the turtle she's not here
Pray for joy, love, and light for her family and in her family


Thank God for the turtles light no matter how bright it was
Thank God that she lived, she loved, moved, and had her being
Thank God she is no longer here but walking with god in his marvelous light
