Okay, I already suck. It's been too long, and I have left everyone wondering how things have been going. I am a terrible person...

Okay now that my self guilt is out of the way, I am going to explain my absence. First, Thanksgiving. It was a very hectic week, and I hardly had any time to myself. Second, my sons been going through some sort of growth spurt or something, and hasn't been sleeping much, which means I haven't been sleeping much either. Third, I have been feeling very homesick; crying a lot and calling my family, after all this is the first year I am away from them for the holidays.

Oh the holidays. What a wonderful time of the year, unless you are like me then it is the most stressful time of the year, unfortunately. Last year I was pregnant, and staying with my mom until my partner and I could settle things with our house here in NM. Last year, I had my family; my mom, sisters, nieces, aunts, cousins. This year I have my six month old son, and my partner. Now I love my little family no doubt, but can you blame a girl for missing her mom? Especially since we moved 6.5 hours away from my home town. Not only is it the hardest time for me now, but it seems like everything just keeps falling apart for us. Both of our vehicles took a shit (pardon my French), so now my partner has no way to get to work this week. We have no money to fix either vehicle until this coming Friday when we get paid. We both haven't even started our Christmas shopping yet. It's just been a disaster. I will say, we finally got a tree up and decorated yesterday, so that is a plus.

My son still isn't sleeping in his crib. He is still sleeping in the bed with me, and my partner made himself pretty comfy on the couch for the time being. It's been a month, and I just cant find the courage to listen to my baby cry for longer than 5 minutes while he lay in his crib at night. Oh but don't worry, I am not getting any better rest with him being in the bed with me either. Like I said earlier, I'm almost positive he's going through a growth spurt or something, so he sleeps WONDERFUL during the day, but at night he is up crying/whining every hour or so... Therefore, my sleeping schedule hasn't been the best.

Any-who, I've been watching the new spin off of Gossip Girl, and I hate to say it but it is pretty good. If anyone liked the original Gossip Girl, I would recommend watching the new one. It is no where near the same, in the drama aspect, and it doesn't run in the same circle like the original but it is very interesting. Also, characters from the original do make appearances, so.. Get excited about that.

But I feel like I have updated everything I can up to this point. So, until next time...
