A purple door made for an eerie entrance
Doubt began to enter in
With witches laughter all around
The line of anxiety was thin

Going for the doorbell
An angry black cat hisses
Reaching out with his razor claws
Thankfully he misses

Entering the main room
A cauldron brewing with bubbles
A cold sweat soaked my brow
I knew there would be trouble

The darkness stifled any words
I could not even speak
All I brought forth
Was a pitiful, painful squeak

The last things I thought of
Before my mind went dark
I saw a yellow blanket
And an axe that'll leave a mark
