Newbie's Delight

What a tangled web we weave
Or is it just the dust bunnies
that I haven't cleaned
From around my desk computer

So many things there are to do
On this wonderful site -
Contests, reviewing, more than a few
It often keeps me up at night

Organization is not my forte
This much I know is true
One day I may master it
But for today, I have no clue

Emoticons, Awardicons,
Merit Badges galore
Now there are these Trinkets
Many of them adored

People! So many people
Helpful, Encouraging, Kind
No better group of writers
Can a Newbie ever find!

So step on up!
Make your mark here
You'll never be in the dark
if writing is your sphere
