No need for words... A Daily Poem Entry (Form: Quatrains)
A Simple Touch


For the homeless in the street,
who beg for change so they can eat
a touch can mean “I understand.”
Such is the power of a hand.

For the lonely and the sad
this simple act can make them glad.
It says have faith, you’re not alone
in a way that’s always known.

Compassion, caring - silent speech;
such power is within your reach.
It’s such a simple act – a touch.
Yet, it can tell a heart so much.
