Just as your muscles can ache after a good workout, I guess your mind can ache after putting something "on paper". I want to get into the habit of writing something everyday, if for nothing else than to exercise and broaden my mind.
Sure, they say, just write something down! Easier to do lunges with your legs at times, than to fill a paper with something meaningful.
What if I don't get into shape? What if I write something truly terrible?
Well, what if I don't even try? There is always that. Better to try and fail, than to never try at all. Perhaps...LOL
I think about weird things, at times. Doing PT after having been in the hospital. Finding and reveling in a new writing community here at WDC. I somehow connect these things in my head. So here I am, writing, practicing. hoping for the best.
I may never publish the Great American Novel, and I may never win a Marathon, but at least I showed up and was willing to expose my weaknesses and hopefully strengths.
I guess that is all for now. Thanks for listening to my rambling thoughts.
