I am going down the rabbit hole to Wonderland. I will meet the Red Queen, The White Queen, The Mad Hatter, {I wouldn't mind meeting Johnny Depp!} The March Hare, Tweedledee, Tweedledum, a smoking caterpillar, Cheshire Cat. I am so there. Come read my adventures.
Yippppee! Way to go and survive the rabbit hole with all it folly! It was so fun to read your entries and see where your muse would take you. A tough assignment and now you can slide down the rainbow back up to reality?
A huge congratulations to YOU! I'm so glad to hear you had some fun with this challenge — yes, there are moments where you want to run for the hills. The important thing is you kept moving forward with your writing, and I really enjoyed reading your entries. Like Kiya said, wear the proudly...you deserve it!
A hearty congratulations to you on completing the adventure!
I'm happy to hear that you learned a lot from the challenge, and of course, I'm grateful to my excellent judges for pushing you to step outside your comfort zone.
Now wear that golden crown proudly and join Queen Alice for the banquet in your honor!
A nice poem, however, it did not follow the format of the poem you were supposed to imitate.
You can have a better view of the poem here if it helps: Haddock's Eyes
It should have at least eight lines in each stanza, so you can re-write what you have in the same way.
This is a fun story using the letter 'H'. The 'hacksaw' parts made me laugh...I've had some haircuts like that. Good job!
I counted all the words out and they all seem to be there. The problem is it's over the word count. I did run your story through 'Word' and there's 637 words, so it's got to be 500 words, which leaves you to edit out 137 words without sacrificing too many of the words starting with 'H'.
This might help... You have over 10 of 'Hortense'/'Hair Dryer'/Hot Rollers/'Honey'/& 'Hacksaw'. So maybe those sentences can be edited out without upsetting the storyline.
