introduction to my memoir

Hi, my name is katrina or Rae for short, I was born on December 19, 1999 I'm about to be 22, was born To my mother Bobbie Joyce, and my dad Armando Dragon I grew up in New York long island to be specific. my father was never really in the picture it was just me and my Mom so were kind of best friends. when my mom was pregnant with me she tried killing me by using a lot of drugs after three months she asked the doctor why it hasn't worked at he just said that me, little old me was meant to be here, I still haven't found that purpose but well we'll get into that further down the line in this memoir. I was moved around a lot growing up I went to 5 different elementary schools and my mom was an addict I should put in here that I am her only child she did her best to protect me but I'm kind of rebellious so it didn't really work. I was raised by my grandma my aunts and uncles so I never had a steady place to call my own that's what I'm searching for now, I'm glad I had the support I did but at the same time, they were all addicts so how well could they really raise a baby my grandma was the only sober one who really tried to let me live up to my potential. I grew up poor and all I wanted to do growing up was buy my grandma a house, but now I'm not so sure she'll make it in time to see that anyway this first chapter is to tell you how I grew up and all the struggles I had to go through. My mom always taught me to never take anything from a man and make sure whats do get is in my name so he can't take it away, she was a bit of a hypocrite though because all she did was move me from guys house to guys house just to get by so now I don't trust guys they always wind up hating me even though know its mainly her fault I've been in and out of therapy for years because of it. This introduction hasn't even come close to what the rest of my life entails so please hold on to your seats because this is going to be a wild ride
